INTRODUCTION:
Iranian Gas Engineering & Development Company intends to construct gas compressor stations near the
city of ABPAKHSH as an EPC project. The purpose of the stations is to boost the gas on IGAT-VI
pipeline. This compressor station will have an approximate capacity of 107 MMSCMD.
This is an E.P.C project where a joint venture between Iran Gas & Water Development Company & Rahab
Consulting Engineers was declared the winner through a tender.

DEFINITIONS:
Project: ABPAKHSH Gas Compressor Stations on IGAT-VI EPC Projects
Contract: The contract between client and contractor for the execution of the PROJECT.
Client: Iranian Gas Engineering & Development Company (I.G.E.D.C.)
Consultant: Scetiran Consulting Engineers
Contractor: Joint Venture Comprising of: Iran Gas & Water Development Company & Rahab Consulting
Engineers, Companies which have aim of supplying E.P.C. services (Engineering,
Procurement, Construction, commissioning, etc.).
Vendor: The Company which has been selected to supply the equipment and materials (goods such as
compressors, Air Coolers, valves, skids, instruments, etc.) and produces technical
documentation mainly related to the production of the ordered supply.
Sub-vendor: The person, firm, or corporation which supplies Vendor with materials, machinery, tools,
equipment, articles, items, or other work services which are used by Vendor in connection
with this Purchase Order.
