Notes:
1) Shear stress is assumed 15 N/mm2 and with a factor of safety of 6 the value taken is 2.5 N/mm2
2) OD of puddle flange is assumed to be the same as the flange itself
3) Thickness of the puddle flange is assumed to be the same as the flange thickness
4) The pipe is extended to the flange hub in order to make the pipe biaxial.
In case the pipe used is biaxial then you should have a W2 on the other side of the puddle flange
