WE’RE BACK!
The St. Stephens Newsletter

In– Person/Online Service Updates

It is so great to see so many smiling faces back in church!! We really

have missed you all. Our little congregation has been very blessed as
no one has suffered from COVID. The tape has been removed from
the pews and the floor and for now, we are receiving wafers only at
communion. Everyone is still going up the center aisle and returning
to their pew by the side aisle. We are still remaining in our pews
during the peace. We are going to continue to be vigilant against this
virus.

We are sad to report Rich and Pat Froleich have moved to Florida,
but have been blessed to have found a new church family. We wish
them well on their new adventure in life. Pat speaks via the phone to
some of our members every week :)

Building Updates
• The exterior refresh has been completed!! This was an amazing
journey and our contractor, Carlos Perez and his team did an
absolutely fantastic job! Check out the before and after pictures on
our website or our Facebook page. Please consider increasing your
weekly pledge or making an additional donation to the general fund
as we look to try and recoup the funds that were spent for this
endeavor.

• The Diocesan Safety Inspection has been completed. We need to

add some exit signs, smoke detectors, and mark a small step by the
kitchen door. A video inventory was also suggested. These items
should be completed shortly. The major issues are the large trees
near the church. These trees have branches hanging over our new
roof. If anyone knows someone who is insured that can trim these
trees, please inform a vestry member.
