Lesson Outcome:

Through this activity, students write a text (60-80 words) about their daily routine using

verbs in present simple and the vocabulary presented during the week.

2. Description:

 Step 1:

o Check this list and the vocabulary studied during the week:

 get up
 brush my teeth
 take classes
 have breakfast
 have a nap
 play videogames
 do homework
 go to bed

 Step 2:
o Complete the following chart answering the questions about your daily
activities in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening.

What do you do… in the morning? in the afternoon? in the evening?

Mostly from Monday to
Friday mornings I always Most of the time I have

review and also see the homework that the
schedules of my virtual teacher leaves.
classes.

 Step 3:
o Using the information from the chart, write a paragraph about your daily
routine.
My name is Jorge Coras and I am 18 years old, I am currently living in San Ramon because of the
pandemic and at the same time I am a university student so because of this pandemic my classes
are virtual and mostly I do not leave home, so my routine from Monday to Friday are the same,
because when it starts to dawn I always get up very late at about 9 am or 10 am and after I have
already got out of bed I take a bath quickly and at the same time my personal hygiene, After I have
done my personal cleanliness I go down to the kitchen to have some light food or some fruit for
breakfast to be well fed after having breakfast I go to my room or rather to the study room to
review the subjects of the classes and see the schedules of the subjects that play that same day,
since mostly my classes always start in the afternoon around 3 pm, but before I start my virtual
classes I always have lunch at 2 pm to be fed and healthy so after having lunch I just enter my
virtual classes which last mostly two hours so my classes end around 5 and sometimes at 6 pm,
because it depends on the subject that the teacher teaches us that day if it is complicated or easy,
but after finishing my virtual classes I start to review and do the activities left as homework by the
ING. , I take 1 to 3 hours studying, but after studying I take my dinner and at the same time I try to
listen to music to be more relaxed so I always do it at 9 pm or sometimes at 11 pm and after
having dinner and distract myself listening to music I proceed to get dressed and do my personal
hygiene to go to sleep and go to bed. To repeat the same routine.
