TASK 1

The diagram shows how electricity can be generated from river flows.

The process depends on day or night time. This system involves a high-level reservoir, intake, power
station and low-level reservoir. The intake will be open during the day and close during night time. Inside
the power station, there is a generator with reversible turbines which operate the generator during the
day and pump water into a high reservoir at night.

Throughout the day, the water flows from a high-level reservoir to a low-level reservoir, pass through the
intake and power station.

At night, the water flows backwards from the low-level reservoir to a high-level reservoir due to the
reversible turbine that pumps the water and the closure of the intake.

As the reversible turbines continues to operate, the electricity is generated.

In conclusion, hydroelectric power station could generated electricity from the flows of a river and be a
useful source of energy for national supply.

TASK 2

K-pop is one of the fastest-growing music industry in this pandemic era. The idea to gather people
together is to know their likeness or what they are interested in. There are tons of variety music in this
world such as J-pop, K-pop, Hollywood, traditional music and also dangdut. People tend to think that
music is a good way of bringing people together while the music also can be a boomerang for immature
humane. I believe that music is not a good way of bringing people of different culture and ages together.

First, everyone has their own taste in music and music has a lot of genres. They could get sick of other
playlists if the music didn't match their style. For example, K-pop fans and heavy-metal fans are unlikely
to share their playlist. Although, it's possible to merge them but the case is very rare.

Second, to be age well with our partner, music is not the main criteria. We should accept each other
despite the contrasting taste in music. Well-mannered, good character and maturity should be the key to
loyalty. Just because we idolised the same person doesn't mean we have the same vision in life.

Lastly, music can also contain bad words that might affect the youth. Sensual lyrics and music video are
one of the charms of some music industries. It might be bad for children with the immature mindset to
explore those stuff.

In conclusion, music is not a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together because
there are better other options to do that such as having a mature mindset.
