INTRODUCTION

The San Juan de Dios Hospital - Mother-child institute

Is a public hospital founded in 1723 in the city of Santafé de Bogotá - currently Bogotá,

Colombia, which had been providing health services since 1564 thanks to donations made by

Juan de los Barrios was converted into a public Hospital administered by the Charity of

Cundinamarca.

It was closed on September 29, 2001, is one of the most important symbols in the history of

medicine in Colombia and is a reference as the main center of public health and medical

scientific research.

This building was built in 1913 by the engineer Ramón Cardona

It is a french arquitecture mixed with Luis VIII and Luis IX and the architects Arturo Jaramillo

and Manrique Maríwokedn

Since this was buiil the pavilion of men worked was made.

EDIFICIO ANGEL CUERVO

Fue el primer nombre que tuvo, construido en 1913 por el ingeniero Ramón Cardona

Es una arquitectura Francesa mezclada de Luis octavo y Luis 9, y los Arquitectos Arturo

Jaramillo y Manrique Marín.

Desde que se inició la construcción del edificio funcionaba el pabellón de hombres.
