Hydraulic Excavator Projekt

Introduction:
Hydraulic technology has been in existence for the
past 226 years. The efficiency of this technique has
been developing greatly for the past two and a quarter
centuries. A lot of the mechanism that is used in
hardware today use hydraulics as a backbone
component. Today we will be looking at one of those
contraption that star the use of hydraulic tech.
Question:
How do hydraulics work?
Answer:
Hydraulic systems work by using pressurized fluid to
power an engine. These hydraulic presses put pressure
on a small amount of fluid in order to generate a large
amount of power. That pressure forces it against a
piston on the other side of the container. This transfers
the energy into the piston, forcing it upward to lift
something. Because the pressure on the water will not
let it flow backwards, the piston can never move in the
opposite way unless that pressure is released.
Hypothesis:
Hydraulics is a technology and applied science using
engineering, chemistry, and other sciences involving
the mechanical properties and use of liquids. At a very
basic level, hydraulics is the liquid counterpart of
pneumatics, which concerns gases. Fluid mechanics
provides the theoretical foundation for hydraulics,
which focuses on the applied engineering using the
properties of fluids. In its fluid power applications,
hydraulics is used for the generation, control, and
transmission of power by the use of pressurized
liquids. Hydraulic topics range through some parts of
science and most of engineering modules, and cover
concepts such as pipe flow, dam design, fluidics and
fluid control circuitry.
Required Materials:
5ml Syringes 8 pieces, 100mm Cable zip ties 1 pack,
Toothpicks 1 pack, Saslic Stick???????? 4 pieces, 2mm
MDF board 3ft x 1ft 1pc, Glue gun 1 piece, Glue sticks
12 pieces, Cardboard sheet 1ft x 1ft 1 piece, Hand saw
with blade 1 piece, Used AA battery 1 piece, Paper
weight 1 piece, Medical tubes 3m, 1” Nails 4 pieces,
Cutting pliers 1 pieces, 320 grade Sand paper 2 pieces.

Observation:
During the demonstration of the vehicle we can notice
how the excavator is quite strong even though it is
made of cardboard. This is because the strength of the
hydraulics is more powerful than the weight of the
cargo in the bucket. We can see how the syringes can
easily maneuver water to pressurize it just the right
way. Each syringe has counterpart which enables it to
move its entire section of the excavator.
Results:
This model of the excavator can work just as well as a
real one. Even though it’s a mini version, it shows more
results than a real one.
Conclusion:
At the end of the day we can see that a miniature
hydraulic excavator crafted from cardboard is pretty
cool. This project was done to show the abilities of
hydraulic technology. We sincerely hoped you enjoyed
this “presentation” and would like to watch us do it
again on other various topics.
