FFE
Separator, mainly used to separate the concentrated liquid and the secondary vapour generated
after heating.
Condenser, whose function is to condense the secondary steam so that it can be recycled and
utilized.
Condensate tank, which is connected to the pump at the outlet and capable of discharging
condensate liquid automatically.

Other fields for the evaporation and concentration of water and organic
solvents.
Falling Film Evaporators Advantages
Pipe material flows downward along the inner wall of the pipe by its own gravity,
instead of pushing with the pressure difference.
Residence time of the raw material in the heat exchanger is very short, does not affect
the chemical properties of heat sensitive materials.
Material in the heat exchange tube is film state and the flow velocity is fast, so the heat
transfer coefficient is very large.
No pressure drop, the pipe side material is in the ambient pressure environment which
can save energy.
Low temperature difference can be chosen because the tube side material is driven
down by its own gravity along the inner wall of the tube rather than by the pressure
difference.
Very little retention material in tube side.
Falling Film Evaporators Disadvantages
Necessary to ensure that the inner wall of the heat exchange tube of the equipment is
completely wet but the membrane is not too thick.
Equipment procurement cost is very high due to high design and manufacturing
requirements
Falling film evaporators are not applicable to materials that are prone to fouling or
contain solid suspended matter.
It is not applicable to materials that are easily scaled or containing solid suspension.
