Course Description This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who support individuals through the provision of
person-centred services under the direction of others. This training aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to:
* Respond to clients and identify presenting needs
* Refer to services, support and assistance
* Provide frontline services in a community services setting

Pathways Community Services sector roles include: Support Worker, Caseworker, Client Contact Officer or Community Development
Worker in a paid or voluntary capacity.

Entry Requirements None.

Other Requirements Students must meet the LLN AQF exit level requirements.

Students will be assessed via online, written, verbal and simulated role play activities.

This course is not TGSS approved.

Cost Notes Department for Education Non-NASSSA students enrolling will incur a $50.00 additional Administration fee (Full year course –
pro rata for semester/term courses). Non-Department for Education students enrolling will incur a $250.00 administration fee.

the WebVET Administrator.

Selection Process All students will be assessed for suitability and must complete an online literacy, language and numeracy test.

Orientation Details Course orientation for all students will be on the first day of training.
