JOB ROTATION

For the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office VI, reassignment and job rotation
are common. It is either a personnel is transferred from one Provincial Office or Division to another or it
could be the changes in the focalship for the programs that we are handling. In my case for example, I
was assigned at DOLE Negros Occidental Field Office from August 2016-June 2019. Afterwhich, I was
transferred to DOLE Antique but was subsequently transferred to the Regional Office, Technical Support
Services Division after 2.5 months.

Due to the demands of each Offices as well as the personnel turn-over due to retirement, Job
rotation and reassignment are vital in the interest of the service, attainment of the desired targets and
to strengthen the human resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to the clients.
