The 2011 Student Conference

March 15-16, 2011

 
The Student Conference is here! Join us for an awesome weekend of worship, great teaching and fun. For

Wisdom Tour” .
This conference is for jr. and sr. high students (grades 7th - 12th). It is held at Calvary Church in Santa Ana,
and we will be staying overnight at a church in the area. Guys and girls will be in separate locations at the
church overnight (of course), and there are NO showers available this year.
Please read over this flyer carefully so you know what to bring, and sign up by returning the lower portion of
this form with your NON-REFUNDABLE full payment to either Pastor Phil, or Jessica Yerkey at church.). If no
one is there you may put your deposit in the mail slot in Phil’s office door.
 
COST: $50! Due April 3rd. Includes the conference, transportation and a continental breakfast Saturday
morning. Students are responsible to bring money for 3 meals on the road (dinner Friday, lunch & dinner Saturday).
 

GUIDELINES: Students may bring cell phones, but they must be turned OFF during the conference sessions (not
just volume down). If they are used inappropriately they will be confiscated and/or students may be asked to leave the trip
at the parent’s expense. No illegal substances, knives, inappropriate magazines or music, etc. * No PDA (public or private
displays of affection) between students– ex. kissing, backrubs, etc.
 

WHAT TO BRING: Sleeping bag, pillow (maybe an air mattress too), toiletries, modest pajamas, $ for meals,
spending money, and clothes for Saturday.
 

*We’ll leave Grace Church 2:30pm Friday, and return to Grace 9:30pm Saturday.
Parents may drop off their student’s bags at church Friday after 9:30am. Call first to check with Pastor Jimmy or the church
secretary to make sure someone is there.

Student Conference on March 15-16, 2011 with Grace Community Church of Ramona. I have read the trip
guidelines and have reviewed them with my child. I understand that there is a level of responsibility my child is
expected to have on this trip, and that they may be removed at any time at my expense if they do not behave
appropriately. I have also filled out the Grace Medical Release Form and the information on it is up to date.
