COVID-Secure Guidance for Individuals using the NSRA Lord Roberts Centre
1. Introduction
All shooting and related activity within the Lord Roberts Centre must follow National Guidance
and the NSRA guidance that comes from it. This includes coaching and associated activities.

Individuals using the Lord Roberts Centre must specifically adhere to the following guidance
which applies to 'Step 4' and is subject to revision as government guidance is updated.
If you or someone in your household has Covid-19 symptoms they should stay at home
and must not attend the Lord Roberts Centre under any circumstances. This includes
anyone who has been told to self-isolate under the NHS test and trace service.
You should bring your own face mask and hand sanitiser with you.
3. Arrival
Upon arrival you should register with reception and provide your name and phone
number or use the NHS App.
You should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before you are due to shoot, this is to
minimise the number of people on the range and inside the Lord Roberts Centre at any
time.
You should come ready to shoot and avoid changing your clothes while onsite.

The Lord Roberts Centre has both indoor and outdoor ranges, the table below shows which
category each range is in and the maximum number of concurrent shooters permitted:
Refer to the table above for the maximum number of concurrent shooters for your range.
No equipment may be shared between shooters (guns, spotting scopes, ear defenders,
ammunition etc) unless from the same household.
The firing point tables must be wiped down with the supplied sanitiser at the start/end of
the session and between each detail.
Electronic target controls and competitor screens/controls (where used) must be wiped
down with the supplied sanitiser at the start/end of the session and between each detail.
Shooters may remove their face masks when they are at the firing point. At all other times
masks must be worn while on the range or inside the Lord Roberts Centre.
When you have finished shooting please remove your equipment from the point and then
vacate the range.
Where paper targets are used hand sanitiser should be used before and after changing
targets. Shooters should retain their own targets and remove them from the range when
they have finished shooting.
No food or drink is permitted to be consumed either on the range or inside the Lord
Roberts Centre. You may drink from your own water bottles while shooting, a screw top
or lidded vessel is recommended to avoid lead contamination.
6. Departure
When you have finished shooting, firing points and control equipment should be wiped down,
all used targets removed and any rubbish placed in the bins provided.
After exiting the Lord Roberts Centre, please sanitise your hands.
