The sound /p/ & /b/

As we know we use three methods to describe
any sound
1-Mannar of articulation
2-Position of articulation
3-Voicing

So we will use these methods to describe the
sound /p/
1-/p/ is plosive sound: It means that when we
pronounce it the air is stopped in the mouth and
released quickly.
2-/p/ is Bilabial sound: It means that when we
pronounce it we use the lips.
3-/p/ is voiceless sound: it means that when we
pronounce it there is no vibration of the vocal

What is the similarity between /p/ & /b/?

Both of them Plosive and Bilabial .

What is the difference between /p/ &/b/?

To make /p/ sound you blow air out of your

mouth, but to make /b/ sound you Don't blow
air out of your mouth
/p/ is voiceless, but /b/ it voiced.
