A. MODULE 4: PLANNING FOR CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LAC

available to you, either provided by DepEd or by non-DepEd learning
service providers (LSPs)

IV. AGENDA:

A. Registration:
1. As early as 8:30 AM to 8:40 AM, the registration runs smoothly and every
presence is accounted for the start of the Learning Action Cell. The participants
sign the provided attendance sheet considering the log in time period with
specifications as to AM and PM, log-in and log out.
B. Checking of Attendance
1. At the brink of 8:50, checking of attendance was facilitated by Sir Hernane M.
Garzon. Reading the names of the participant one by one and making sure that
everybody is on their proper sits before the series of activities starts highlights the
said activity.
C. Prayer and National Anthem
1. At the extent of 8:55, through the multimedia presentation facilitated by the
speaker of the day, Ma’am Cherry Earl G. Talamor lead the National Anthem and
followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
D. Energizer
1. At Exactly 9: 00- the Grade 10 being the in charge of the said part, made the
day energized as they tend to let the participants dance.
E. Flow of the Activities
1 Lesson 1: Reflecting on Professional Life and Development.
a. At the brink of 9:00 to 10:00 in the morning, the speaker of the said activity,
ma’am Cherry Earl G. Talamor highlights the activity as teacher and student
methods of responses. Having this as a method of presenting the lesson using a
power point, the participants highlights the activity by carrying out their plan
for continuing PD. Through a reflection methodology the participants discussed
the different PD initiatives/programs related to the LDMs that are available to
them, either provided by DepEd or by non-DepEd learning service providers
(LSPs). Further, the falitator let the participants developed a PD plan including
the Learning Action Plan and let them to be committed to their professional
growth and development. As such the responses above were highlighted in the
lessons underpinning the said self-learning module. As such, the facilitator
encourages an attentive listening venue among the participants by taking into
account the accomplishment of the different activities and filling in the table
provided in the activity. In lieu with the presentation, the participants reflected
on and assessed their current capabilities and practice in relation to the use of
the LDMs in their School. Such move in the activity were highlighted in the
participant’s notebook. The lesson ended accordingly at 10:00 and the
participants were given 5 minutes’ break.
2. Lesson 2: Planning for the Continuing Professional Development and Participation
in the LAC
a. The same person as a speaker, the lesson starts at exactly 10:05. The
speaker by this session let the participants to identify the PD programs
available for them to reinforce positive feelings about teaching as a career.
Relevant activities highlighted in the self-learning modules were eagerly
guided to the participants for the accomplishment. The session ended at
11:00 and give the participants to openly engage on a collaborative
discussion of the activities.

3. Lesson 1 - The Teaching Portfolio and Its Contents


a. In the extent of 1:00 in the afternoon, Sir Ricky M. Soledad delivers the
relevant information regarding the teaching portfolio. Through a power
point presentation, the speaker let the participants to actively engage on
describing what a portfolio is and letting them identify the contents of their
teaching in the LDM Portfolio. Such process was evident in the notebook
and output accomplished by the participants. Such discussion ended at
2:00 in the afternoon and was followed by the next speaker.

4. Lesson 2 - The Evaluation Rubric


a. At exactly 2:00, Sir Charlemagne B. Yabut discussed to the participants the
said lesson through a power point presentation. Such discussion highlights
the accomplishment on explaining the criteria and its specific indicators
found in the Evaluation Rubric. Attentive as it may seem, the participants
listed down the steps and plan of action to make your Portfolio responsive
to the Rubric. Such move highlights the success of the activities and ended
the session at 3:00 in the afternoon.
5. Awarding of Certificates.
a. At exactly 3:30 in the afternoon, the principal of Mandurriao National High
School, in the person of Ma’am Alpha A. Java, arrived in the venue and
leads the awarding of certificates to the facilitators, speakers and
participants. Closing exercises were then followed signifying the end of the
program.
F. Adjournment
Sir Hernane M. Garzon reminded the participants about the expected outputs to
be submitted before the deadline set. Then the Meeting was adjourned at 4:00 PM.
