The Dynamic Relationship of Moral and Cultural Behavioral Values

Moral law is the foundation, the root and anchor of all cultural behavioral values in
matters of decision of right or wrong. Therefore unless Man’s subjective societal, and
situational behavioral values are firmly rooted in the objective, universal and eternal truths, he
runs the risk of violating the Moral Law.
Ideas behind the Dynamic Relationship of Moral and Cultural Behavioral Values:

 Although man is created with the inclination to do good and avoid evil, and the capacity
to distinguish between right and wrong, he is still capable of committing immoral acts
because of personal vulnerabilities and weakness.

 Occasionally cultural practices become accepted in a society even though they are
immoral: such practices easily blur and distort the formation of conscience.

 During his lifetime, everyman, everywhere perhaps everyday, encounters personal

opinions and motives, cultural modes of conduct, and situations which demand the he
makes the choices between right and wrong.
