Voluntary project at West Middlesex hospital – Starlight Ward March2010

 Working within a small team, creating theatre as a form of escapism for terminally ill
children
 Devised and led a workshop, based on arts and craft, making puppets and
storyboards with the children then bringing them to life in a performance
 Directing other team members

International Youth Theatre Festival in Mostar, Bosnia August 2010

 Chief point of contact ahead of the trip, liaising between all group members to
ensure everyone kept informed of the rehearsal timetable and trip itinerary
 Assumed responsibility for costume and props
 Chief note taker, documenting the rehearsal process and diarising the whole trip
 Performed in an adapted Greek myth called ‘Tongue’ as a leading cast member of
the Bridges Theatre Company
 Assumed role of Director for part of the performance

other commitments through a prioritisation process

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

 Music – a huge life-long passion of mine inherited from my father who was a radio
and television presenter
 I currently co-host my own radio show on Radio Brunel every Monday 12:00-14:00,
where I get to express my love of music and passion for current affairs. I also
produce the show, which is another skill I have developed since first starting the
show
