Five Names of Ports:

1.Video Ports
2.Serial Ports
3.Audio Ports
4.Display Ports
5.Parallel Ports

Explanation of 2 Ports:
1. AUDIO PORTS:
Audio ports are used to connect
speakers of other audio output devices
with the computer. The audio signals cn
be either analogue or digital and
depending on that the port and its
corresponding connector differ.

2. PARALLEL PORT:
Parallel port is an interfere between
computer and peripheral devices
like printer with parallel
communication.
Before the wide use of USB ports,
parallel ports are very common in
printers. Parallel ports are
particular ports. They can connect
with many devices.
Parallel ports speed is more than
serial ports devices take no time for
access there devices are quickly
accessed.
Q2.

A heat sink is a passive heat exchanger that

transfers the heat generated by an electronic or a
mechanical device to a fluid medium, often air or a
liquid coolant, where it is dissipated away from the
devices thereby allowing regulation of the devices
temperature.
Heat sinks are used to cool CPUs.

Q3.

1. HEAT SINK:
The heat sink draws the heat away
from the CPU.
2. CPU FAN:
Gives air to ROM, RAM etc.
Q4.
OUTPUT DEVICES:
1.Monitor
2.Printer
3.Headphones
4.Projector
5.Video Card
6.Soundcard
7.Speakers
8.GPS
9.LCD Project Panels
10. Visual Display Unit

INPUT DEVICES:
1.Cameras
2.Keyboard
3.Microphone
4.Scanner
5.Graphic Tablets
6.Joysticks
7.Gamepad
8.Digital Camera
9.Pen Input
Q5.
Ans:
A modern modulates one or more carrier wave
signals to encode digital information for
transmission and demodulates signals to decode
the transmitted information. The goal is to produce
a signal that can be transmitted easily and decoded
reliably to reproduce the original digital data.

Q6.
Ans
I have learnt so many things from Lab like I have
learn about input, output devices. I have learn
about ports. I have learn how to use MS Word and
how to convert MS Word into PDF etc.
