Chapter 4

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter discusses the conclusions and

recommendations of the study.

Conclusions

Based on the data gathered and findings of the

study, the following conclusions were obtained:

1. In the findings, the pre-test and post-test mean

level of performance of both the control and

experimental groups remarks a poor result except

in the post-test of the experimental group which

is satisfactory.

2. In the findings, there is no significant

difference between the pre-test scores of both

groups which means there is no resemblance between

them.

3. In the findings, there is a significant difference

between the post-test scores of the experimental

group and control group.

4. There is a significant difference between the pre-

test and post-test scores of the control group and

experimental group. Therefore, both groups

examinations has its relation to each other.

Recommendations
Conclusions, and Recommendations 92

Based on the conclusion, the following

recommendations were obtained.

1. Students should be introduced and be familiarized

to the different instructional materials like

module for them to improve not only their

performance and their full potential but also

their independent study skills.

2. Implementation of modules as their self-learning

kit for them to gain more knowledge and strategy

in their studies.

3. The school/colleges must provide different

instructional materials like modules in academic

subject for the students and teachers to have lots

of options to use to attain information, facts,

and data.

4. After using module as a supplementary material,

the experimental group achieved higher results

than the control groups with small difference

which may be due to the small sample size used,

reseacher recommends for the future studies to use

more valid and realible modules.
