A. Remove e HPT/LPT ACC Air Valve:
(1) Remove the actuator rod assembly from the HPT/LPT ACC air valve.

(2) Release the stator rod assembly and the rod of the HPT/LPT air valve from the ACC valve rod bracket.

(a) Remove two bolts (13) and the two nuts (36)
(b) Remove and discard the pin (32).
(c) Remove the nut (31) and the bolt (18).
(d) Remove the ACC rod bracket (37).
(e) Release the stator rod assembly (15) from the HPT/LPT ACC air valve (15) (5).
(f) Use the PULLER REMOVAL (IAE1J13504), to remove the bushes (30) and (19).

(3) Remove the ACC HPT valve bracket from the flange FM.

A. Install r the HPT/LPT ACC Air Valve:
(1)o Install the ACC front duct to the HPT/LPT ACC air valve.

(2) Assemble the ACC housing and related parts.

(a) Assemble the ACC seal (41), the ACC seal retainer (42) and the joint heat shield (39) to the ACC housing
(40).
(b) Install the four bolts (38).

(h) Safety the nut (44) with a new IPC-CSN(75-24-51-80 ITEM 110) PIN (43) Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-11-
911-014.
(i) Install the bushes (48) and (66) in to the ACC housing (70) (40).

(j) Put the ACC HPT valve link (56) in to position so that the bearing ball of the ACC HPT valve link (56) is
between the bushes (48) and (66). Make sure that the bushes (48) and (66) touch the faces of the bearing
ball.
(k) Install the bolt (65) and the nut (47).
(l) TORQUE the nut (47) to between 32.5 and 42.5 lbf.in (0.37 and 0.48 m.daN) Ref. AMM TASK 70-23-11-
911-013.
(m) Safety the nut (47) with a new IPC-CSN(75-24-51-80 ITEM 110) PIN (82) (46) Ref. AMM TASK 70-40-
11-911-014.
(n) Install the bushes (51) and (54) in to the ACC HPT valve link (89).
