My GATE preparation journey that hopefully leads me to studying in IITs

I bow my head to God for blessing me with an All India Rank of 10 which hopefully fetches me an
admission in top IIT’s. I’m grateful to my parents for the strong support system they have given me
all through the preparation to help me realize my dream of studying in an IIT college. I thank my
dearest brother for explaining me the algorithmic solutions to each and every problem I asked him
day in and day out unrelenting despite being stricken with Corona.

I thank my teachers Ravindra Babu Ravula, Srikanth Varma Chekuri, Subba Reddy Lingamgunta, Anil
Nair(Quantitative Aptitude) who were instrumental in guiding me to gain a strong foundation in the
technical and empirical concepts of the computer science subjects.

I thank all my GRIET undergraduate teachers Priyanka mam for teaching Computer Networks which
has broadened my horizon in Computer Networking, Pavani Repala mam and Ambika Annavarapu
mam for teaching Digital Signal Processing which has enhanced my mathematical rigor, Nagaja mam
for Digital logic design, Navya mam for Computer Organization Architecture, Hima Bindu Veliveti
mam for Signal and Systems which has enhanced my power of analysis. Srinivas Reddy sir , Sirisha
mam for teaching Engineering Mathematics(Including Linear Algebra, Calculus(Differential and
Integral), Probability and Statistics, Combinatorics). I came to GRIET with the dream of achieving
something which requires a lot of painstaking effort because I believe only then I’ll be able to
achieve success in my life. But due to distractions in my undergrad times I could not fulfill my dream
of studying at the top of my game and securing top rank in academics in my stream. This thought
was lingering in my mind that I was graduating from college without achieving anything that requires
great effort. So the next day when I logged into GRIET website I saw the advertisement poster of the
student being awarded a trophy from our college director for getting through a product based
company Amazon has inspired me a lot and it has motivated me to study even harder with a
stronger vision that I would be congratulated the same way like she was if not with a trophy but with
the admiration and love towards me that I had secured a good rank in Gate.

I thank my school teachers Ramanathan Sathyabhama madam for teaching social studies which has
imparted in me the rigorous reading comprehension and analytical skills. I thank Chitrabhanu Naduri
madam for teaching me physics in school which has enhanced my problem solving skills immensely
and changed my outlook towards the problem that reflected in GATE exam as well. I thank Sirisha
mam for teaching me mathematics in school which has laid a strong foundation in the concepts by
enhancing my problem solving and logical skills that surely reflected in GATE exam as well.

I thank my undergrad college friends Bhavya, Lalitha, Amulya, Indu Sravani Dandu for inspiring me to
study by encouraging me as much as possible through giving resources to study for GATE. While I
was dabbling and fumbling for the online Gate resources Amulya came to my rescue like an angel of
mercy and has given me the standard textbooks that I need to study for Computer Science as I was
an Electronics and Communication Engineering major in BTech. Reading standard books and solving
the exercises at the back of each chapter have strengthened my level of understanding of the
concepts of each topic in the subject which in turn helped me solve problems efficaciously.

I thank my cousins Satish Natla, Gautam Vishwanath Reddy, Satya Kiran Reddy, Akhila Reddy, Vijaya
Sekhara Reddy, Sudharshan Reddy, Nagarjuna Reddy for inspiring me and encouraging me to study
with their achievements in life.

I thank my dearest well wisher Chandra Mouleswara Reddy for constantly giving me suggestions
regarding how to prepare for Gate through narrating his journey of preparation for IIT JEE while he
was studying in Narayana hostel. Your anecdotes and suggestions have really helped fuel my
motivation levels. When my mind was straying with distractive thoughts your words of
encouragement have triggered the motivation in me to study with razor sharp focus by channelizing
my whole energy on studying the subjects. I’m forever indebted to you and you’ll be my dearest
friend forever.

All of my school teachers, college teachers have instilled in me the self-discipline to meticulously
focus on my studies with diligence and cosnscientiousness along with a whole lot of patience,
endurance, grit, mental strength, resilience, persistence, perseverance, tenacity, passion, power of
concentration towards the task at hand.

I also have to thank my team in TCS who have given me immense support for my higher studies
preparation to broaden my horizon in the emerging technologies of my interest.

I thank my well wisher Sai Kumar Reddy for introducing me to Narasimha Karumanchi. Narasimha
Karumanchi’s explanation of the foundational concepts are intelligible which gave me a profound
insight into each and every topic I studied and that really changed my outlook towards the subject
which was conducive to enhance my knowledge base to a wider extent that helped me solve mind
provoking problems.

Just like how Mahesh Babu was motivating Allari Naresh as he flunked the semester exam, the same
words of motivation were hammered into my brain by Chandra Mouleswara Reddy. He told me that
every body is gifted with an indomitable strength that defines their personality and character. He
made me realize that just like how he was good at studies I would also be gifted with some capability
that I’m deeply passionate about. So he told me to stand by it, believe in it and move forward by
taking action upon my goal with penchant and success will reach me by hook or crook.
