Five-Count Formula for $5 Base Bets

Bet Type Attack Bets Recovery Bets Total Bets

Bet Level 1 2 3 4 5
Bets 5 10 15 20 40 $90

Determining the Betting Action With the Five-Count Betting Formula

All bets made in this system are based on five bets divided into two groups. The Five-Count Formula for
$5 Base Bets is shown below:

Five-Count Formula for $5 Base Bets

Bet Type Attack Bets Recovery Bets Total Bets

Bet Level 1 2 3 4 5
Bets 5 10 15 20 40 $90

Rules for Attack Bets

1. Start with the lowest bet in the group, in this case a $5 bet.
2. If the bet loses, raise the next bet one level. If the bet wins, continue to make the same bet. If there
have been two wins in a row and the next bet is $5, use the rules for Profit Betting.
3. If a bet wins, drop the bet one level. If you win two bets in a row or two out of three bets, drop the
next bet two levels. Example: Win a bet on $15. Lose a bet on $10. Win a bet on $15. The next bet will
be on $5, since we won two out of three bets.

4. If the largest bet in the Attack Group is lost move into Recovery Betting.

Rules for Recovery Bets

1. Begin making Recovery Bets when you experience the loss of the highest Attack Bet (a Level 3
Bet).

2. With Recovery Betting, your goal is to win one Recovery Bet. Upon the win of a Recovery Bet,
you will drop to making a Level 2 Attack Bet in the next round. Example: Bet $20 and lose. Bet $40
and win. Drop to a $10 Attack Bet. If this bet wins drop to a Level 1 $5 bet. If the bet loses, increase
the next bet to a Level 3 bet.

Profit Betting
1. You must have won two wagers in a row and be at a Level 1 bet to start profit betting.
2. In Profit Betting Mode you will make a wager of $7 instead of the normal level 1 bet of $5. If the bet
wins, you will reduce the next bet to $5. If this bet wins, increase the next bet to $6 and with each additional
win increase the next bet by +2. This series can be written as:
7 – 5 – 6 – 8 – 10 and so on.
3. Any loss ends Profit Betting. The loss is counted as the loss of a Level 1 bet so that the next bet will
be a Level 2 bet.

Explanation of Table:
Ref – Used for reference purposes only.
Decision – The outcome of each round of play. A “B” means that the banker hand won.
Betting Pattern – The bet selection method used, where R = Repeat Mode, C = Chop Mode and P =
Profit Betting Mode.

Bet On – Where the bet was placed, where P = Player, and B = Banker.

A round by round review of the game follows:

Rounds 1 and 2. These rounds are used to observe the decisions so that we have the information
needed to base our wagers on the second preceding bet. If you are playing online and must make
wagers in order to activate play, make minimum wagers for these rounds.

Round 3. Having observed two decisions we have the information needed to start our play. We always
begin by using the Repeat Pattern (R). We bet that the decision made in Round 1 (B) will repeat. Our
first bet is always a Level-1 Attack Bet (A-1 $5). We bet $5 on B and win.

Round 4. We wager that the Round 2 decision of P will repeat. We make an A-1 $5 bet.

Our wager wins.

Round 5. We continue using the R pattern to place our bets. This round we bet that the Round 3
decision of B will repeat. Having won the last two bets, we are now in Profit Betting Mode. We are
still at Level-1. However, instead of making the A-1 bet of $5, we make a P-1 wager of $7. We win
the bet.

Round 6. Continuing with the R bet selection pattern, we wager that the decision in Round 4 of P will
repeat. Having won the last bet in P betting mode, we make the second P bet of $5 and win the bet.

Round 7. Sticking with the R betting pattern we wager that the decision of B from Round 5 will repeat.
We continue in Profit Betting mode betting $6 this round. Our bet wins.

Round 8. Still in R mode we bet that the outcome of Round 6, a P, will repeat. We continue in Profit
Betting mode with a wager of $8 which wins.

Round 9. Still in R betting mode we wager that the decision B from Round 7 will repeat.
We continue in Profit Betting Mode with a wager of $10. Our bet loses.
Round 10. With one loss we continue to use R betting mode and wager that the decision of B in Round
8 will repeat. Having lost a P-1 level bet, we revert to Attack Betting and make an A-2 wager of $10.
Our $10 wager on P wins.

Round 11. Continuing to use the R bet selection pattern we wager on P, the same decision as occurred
in Round 9. With an A-2 win in the previous round we drop back to an A-1 $5 bet which loses.

Round 12. With just one loss we continue to use the R bet selection pattern and wager on P, the same as
the decision for Round 10. Following the loss on an A-1 wager, we raise our bet one level to A-2 and
bet $10. We lose the bet.

Round 13. Two consecutive losses triggers a change from using the Repeat pattern to using
the Chop pattern. Using the C pattern we wager on P, the opposite of the decision for Round 11.
We raise our bet to an A-3 bet and bet $15. We win the bet.

Round 14. With a win we continue to use the C bet selection pattern. This round we bet on P, the
opposite of the decision for Round 12. We drop our wager to the A-2 level and bet $10. We win the
wager. With this wager our Net for the Game hits +47, greater than our Win Goal of $40. We call the
game completed.

After Round 14 we conclude this game. If you like, you can take a break from play at this point.
However, if you are playing online this game has lasted only about two minutes and you may want to
continue playing. If you decide to continue to play, you should Reset the strategy to an A-1 bet using
the R pattern and continue playing.

There are more sample games in the next chapter.

More Sample Games
I am going to present two more sample games. These are real games played in an online casino. If
you have trouble following either the bet selection process or the bet sizing method, you should

Review of Game 2
Rounds 1 and 2 were observation rounds before we starting betting.
Rounds 3 through 6. We won our bets in Rounds 3 and 4. Following two consecutive winning bets
we changed from Attack Betting Mode to Profit Betting for Round 5. In Round 5 we made a Profit bet
of $7 instead of the A-1 level Attack Bet of $5. We lost the bet. Any loss in Profit Betting Mode
triggers a move back into Attack Mode at one level higher. For Round 6 we made an A-2 $10 bet and
lost.

Rounds 7 through 10. Our loss on Round 6 was our second loss in a row. Two consecutive losses
using Repeat Bet Selection Pattern signaled a change to using the Chop Pattern in Round 7. The Chop
Pattern won the bets in Rounds 7 through 9. This demonstrated how effective this pattern can be at
times. Finally on Round 10 the Chop Pattern bet lost. Any loss using Chop Pattern triggers a move
back to the Repeat Bet Selection Pattern.

Rounds 11 and 12. These bets were made using the Repeat Bet Selection Pattern. We lost both bets
signaling a change in bet selection pattern for Round 13.

Rounds 13 to 16. For Round 13 we changed our bet selection pattern from R to C. At this point we
have lost all of the Attack Bets and we made a $20 Recovery Bet which won. Following the win of any
Recovery Bet our next bet would be an A-2 level bet which we made in Round 14. We continue using
the C pattern following a win. We won Round 14 for two wins in a row.

Rounds 17 to 18. We coasted through these rounds to victory. On Round 18 we exceeded our Win
Goal and called the game over.

Review of Game 3
Rounds 1 through 3. We observed three baccarat decisions before we started betting because the
decision for Round 2 was a tie bet.

Rounds 4 through 13. In these rounds we stayed in the Attack Betting Mode. We won rounds 12
and 13 setting the stage for moving into Profit Betting on Round 14.

Rounds 14 through 16. We stayed in the Profit Betting Mode for these rounds. The loss of the wager in
Round 16 signaled the end of the Profit Betting Mode and the move back to Attack Betting for Round
17.

Rounds 17 and 18. These rounds consisted of back-to-back wins in Attack Mode. By the end of
Round 18, our winnings hit +44, exceeding our Target Win amount of $40.

You want to note that we stayed in the Repeat Bet Selection Pattern for this entire game.
This shows how effective this pattern can be when baccarat decisions trend strongly.
How Much Can You Expect to Win Using Five-Count
Baccarat?
The Five-Count Baccarat System is a very profitable strategy. At this time, I have statistics on 5,538
games played using this strategy in real casinos. These games have been played in both land-based
and in online casinos. They have been played primarily in the mini-baccarat version of the game, but a
number of games were played on the big table version of the game as well.

In testing Five-Count Baccarat our players used Base Bets ranging in size from $1 to $100. For
purposes of comparability the results of all games were converted to the results which would have
been realized using $5 Base Bets (like the Sample Games presented earlier).

We won a total of $120,451.50 as adjusted to using $5 Base Bets.

The average net amount won per game was $21.75. This amount is net of all losing games.

We won 4,899 games and lost 639 games out of 5,538 games played. Our win rate was 88.46% of all
games played.

We played a total of 97,128 rounds of baccarat.

The average length of a game was just 17.54 rounds of play, including observation rounds.

The average net amount won per round of play was $1.24 per round.
Reviewing winning games only we found that the average amount won per winning game was $31.89.

Looking at the losing games we foundd that the average amount lost per losing game was $71.33 per
game.

How Fast Will You Win?

To estimate our hourly win rates we assume the following rates of play:
Land-based games of mini-baccarat are played at an average of 80 rounds of play per hour.

Online games are played at 300 rounds per hour.

Since we know that our average net win rate is $1.24 per round of play for $5 Base Bets,
we can use this information to estimate our average winnings per hour in both land-based and online
games.

As a $5 Base Bettor we compute our hourly win rates as follows:

Land-based play: 80 rounds per hour x $1.24 per round = $99.20 hourly win rate
Online play: 300 rounds per hour x $1.24 per round = $372.00 hourly win rate.
Since the winnings at different levels are proportionate to each other, we can compute the estimated
hourly win rates for different levels of play.

The following table shows the hourly win rate for Base Bets ranging from $1 to $1000.
No amounts are shown for online play with Base Bets larger than $100 as there are few games available
accepting wagers large enough to accommodate this level of betting.

$750 $13,500 $186.00 $14880.00 NA
$1000 $18,000 $248.00 $19,840 NA

Reviewing the preceding table gives us strong evidence of the power of using Five-Count Baccarat.

As a $1 bettor, we can play online with an $18 bankroll and expect to average wining $74.40 per
hour.

If we move up to making $2 bets online, we can double our hourly win rate and pull in almost $150
an hour.

If all you do is make $2 Base Bets online, you can average making $150 an hour. If you play ten hours
a week, you’ll pull in a very tidy $1,500 a week in profits. And, the most impressive aspect of this
accomplishment is that you can do this using a Game Bankroll of just $36!

However, I can’t think of any reason why a player would want to stay at this level. Most of our online
players quickly move up to making $10 to $25 Base Bets. The rewards are self apparent –

$10 bettors will pull in $744 an hour, and

$25 bettors will net a stunning $1,860 an hour!
These are impressive amounts by anyone’s standards!
Land-based play is just as exciting. Here players are faced with slower games and higher minimum
betting requirements.
Five-dollar bettors can average $99.20 an hour using a $90 Game Bankroll. With a few hours
winnings they can easily move up to making $50 Base Bets and netting $992 an hour.

Many of our land-based players make $100 to $500 Base Bets. As a $100 base bettor a Five-Count
Baccarat player can average winning $1984 an hour. Ten hours a week of play at this level nets the
player close to $20,000 a week!

The Profit Multiplying Factor

I have just showed you some of the hourly win rates you can expect to pull in as a Five-Count
Baccarat player. It is easy to see why this system is considered one of the best professional level
systems of all time.

However, this system not only pulls in high winnings. But also manages to do so using very small
bankrolls.

Let’s take a look at what a $5 Base Bettor can make playing online. Here are the parameters of
$5 play online:

Game Bankroll: $90

Hourly Win Rate (300 rounds per hour): $372.00
Our long-term testing firmly establishes that a $5 bettor, playing with a $90 Game Bankroll, will
average making $372 an hour net of losses.

This becomes even more impressive when we compute the Profit Multiplier Factor.
The Profit Multiplier Factor (PM Factor) is computed by dividing the Hourly Winning by the Game
Bankroll.

For example, if we were able to win $50 an hour using a $100 bankroll we would have:
$50/$100 = .50. We would interpret this as a PM Factor of 0.50 which is not bad.
Now, let’s see how well our documented performance using Five-Count Baccarat computes for
$5 betting:

Dividing our hourly win rate by the size of our Game Bankroll, we have:

$372/$90 = 4.133
We compute a PM Factor of 4.133. This is outstanding! And, since the hourly winnings for different
levels of play are proportionate, we can compute our estimated hourly winnings for online play by
multiplying any level of Game Bankroll times the PM Factor of 4.133.
Here is a table showing estimated hourly winnings based on the PM Factor for different bankroll
levels used online:

Online Hourly Winnings Based on a PM Factor of 4.133

Base Bet Game Bankroll Estimated Hourly
Winnings
$1 $18 $74.40
$2 $36 $148.78
$3 $54 $223.18
$5 $90 $371.97
$8 $144 $595.15
$10 $180 $743.94
$12 $216 $9892.82
$15 $270 $1115.91
$20 $360 $1487.88
$25 $450 $1859.85
$35 $630 $2603.79
$50 $900 $3719.70
$75 $1350 $5579.55
$100 $1800 $7439.40

We can also use the PM Factor to estimate hourly winnings for land-based play.
Let’s first compute the PM Factor for play in land-base games.
Reviewing the results of $5 betting, we find that a bankroll of $90 returns an average net of $99.20 per
hour.
We compute the PM Factor for land-based play by dividing the hourly winning by
the Game Bankroll for $99.20/$90 = 1.102

With a PM Factor of 1.102 for land-based play we can easily calculate our estimated
hourly winning by multiplying the Game Bankroll for each level of play times the
PM Factor of 1.102, shown as follows:

Land-Based Hourly Winnings Based on a PM Factor of 1.102

Bankroll Control
When you lose control of your bankroll, you have lost one of the big three needed to
beat the casinos. You must always bring the amount of money required for a given
level of play. The table below summarizes the amount of game bankrolls and total
bankrolls for each level of play.

If you are a $1 Base Bettor you should have a total bankroll of at least $90 before you
start playing. If you only have $50, you are not qualified to play at this level. [Note: We
have had excellent results starting with a smaller bankroll equal to the amount of the
Game Bankroll, in this case $18, and building from there. However, if you use this
approach your risk of losing your bankroll increases.]

$500 $9000 $45000
$750 $13,500 $67,500
$1000 $18,000 $90,000

You must have the requisite bankroll needed for each level of play. If you plan on
playing in $10 minimum wager land-based games, you will need a bankroll of $900 to
safely play at this level.

If you are short of bankroll, one of the best ways to get started is to play in the $1 minimum
bet games offered online. Here, you can get started with an $18 Game Bankroll and literally
grow your own bankroll using your winnings as your source of bankroll.

Once you have the required minimum amounts you can move on to playing in the
higher minimum bet land-based games.

Rules and Guidelines for Disciplined Play

1. Learn how baccarat is played. It is not necessary to understand the drawing and
standing rules for the Player and Banker hands, but you should understand the
basic rules of the game.

2. Learn the Five-Count Baccarat System Bet Placement rules. Make sure that you
understand how we determined where to place each bet by reviewing the
Sample Games in this book.

3. Learn how to move from one betting mode to another. There are three betting modes
and you should know exactly when you will move from Attack Betting to Recovery
or Profit Betting.
4. Learn the betting series for the level of play you will play. If you plan on making $1
Base Bets online, then learn the betting series for this level of play.

5. Practice using the strategy in play mode in an online casino. I recommend using
Ocean’s Online (www.oceansonlinecasino.com) practice mode for learn the strategy.

6. Set up a Five-Count Counter before you begin practice play, recording

the appropriate betting series amounts for your proposed level of play.

7. Practice playing at least 20 games. Be sure to record each bet as you play. You may
refer to one of my sample games as an example of how to record your bets.

8. When you practice a critical part of your play is learning when to stop playing and
how to lock up your Profit Goal. Knowing when to quit each game is a critical part
of using the Five-Count Baccarat System correctly.

9. Raise the correct bankroll needed for your level of play before you begin playing
with real money.

10. When you are playing periodically take stock of your physical and mental state. Quit
if you are tired or your concentration is wavering.

11. Set up daily profit goals and quit when you reach them. These should be realistic and
not require too much play. If you are playing in a land-based casino, four to five
hours a day at the table is more than enough. If you play longer you will not be
playing at your sharpest and your winner’s edge may slip.

12. Use a Five-Count Counter to record each game. Keep a running summary of your
game wins and losses so that you always know exactly where you stand.

13. Don’t worry about quitting in the middle of a shoe. The Five-Count Baccarat System
does not require that you play through an entire shoe before assessing your winnings.

You should follow our guidelines and quit using our profit lock-up rules
irrespective of whether a shoe is finished or not.

How to Win With the Five-Count Baccarat System

Most people approach casino gambling as a lark, and little consideration is given to the
amount of time, money or psychological preparation necessary for winning. Some
attention is given to finding a "system" or "gimmick" and off the player goes to try his
hand at winning. Needless to say, this approach hardly ever works.

Some work and advance preparation are essential to becoming a consistent winner
at roulette or any other casino game.

The advance preparation is fairly easy. First, read and understand this book. The
easiest way to practice is to play in an online casino on your home computer in
“practice mode” where no money is risked. This will give you a realistic feel for
baccarat as it is played, whether you play online or in a land-based game.

Practice is essential for two reasons. First, by practicing you will gain a greater
understanding of the system than you ever will by just reading about it. Secondly,
practicing the system will give you a greater feel for it than I can ever convey by
describing it. In practicing this strategy, you will gain a level of confidence in your play
which is important before you ever venture forth to take on a casino.

In a casino, your enemy is not the casino or the dealer. It is your own lack of self-
control. If you can control yourself and have a mastery of your approach, you will
become a winner. If you can't, then it is unlikely that the Five-Count Baccarat System
or any other system can make you a winner.

After you have learned and practiced this strategy, you will want to begin planning to
apply it in a casino. “What?” you say. Planning? I just spent time learning the darned
thing! What's this planning? Why can't I just jump in my car or get on a plane, arrive at a
location that has baccarat and start playing? Or, why can’t I just get online, pick an
online casino and start playing baccarat?
Planning begins with determining the size of bankroll you will take for your Five-Count
Baccarat System Sessions. The amount you take for an excursion to a casino(s) is called
the Trip Bankroll, and it should be three to four times the size of bankroll required to
play a game. If you decide to play online, you can use these same concepts. Here your
“Trip Bankroll” can be thought of as your total bankroll for online play.

It is necessary to use a larger bankroll for a trip to provide for an adequate cushion
against losses. If, for example, you decided that since the loss rate is so low (about one
in nine games), you would only take the amount needed to play one game. What would
you do if the loss occurred in the first session, or even the first half dozen sessions?
You would not have a large enough bankroll to continue to play baccarat, and you
would be "tapped out" even with a winning system.

It is far better to plan for the worst and then do your best to prevent it from occurring.
The following table summarizes the session and trip bankrolls required for each level of
wagering.
Five-Count Baccarat

$500 $9000 $45000
$750 $13,500 $67,500
$1000 $18,000 $90,000

Needless to say, this bankroll should come from money that is extra and will not be
needed for living expenses. If you take the money needed to pay your mother's medical
bill for gambling, the psychological pressure will probably be too much for you, and in
general, this is just not a good way to approach any speculative venture.
After building your bankroll and practicing the system until you can perform it
flawlessly, you may begin your final preparations for a gambling excursion. You
should have an adequate number of Five-Count Counter Forms, a notebook for
recording the results of your play and a game plan for your trip.

A trip game plan can be very informal consisting of an itinerary with playing time
scheduled in a general way. You don't have to have every minute scheduled, but I
have found that my mental attitude is improved if I have planned a definite amount of
time for gambling as well as other activities.

If you wish to approach using the Five-Count Baccarat System in an extremely

organized and professional manner, you may wish to develop a plan to let the system
help build your bankroll.

Assume that your bankroll is $500. You are planning a trip to Las Vegas and you find
out that the minimum baccarat bets accepted are $10 bets.

You check with the table presented a couple of pages ago and see that the bankroll
required to use the Five-Count Baccarat System with $10 unit bets is $900. You can see
that you don’t have a large enough bankroll to play at this level.

Looking at the previous table showing bankroll requirements you can see that you really
only have a couple of choices now. You can postpone using the Five-Count Baccarat
System in Las Vegas until you save another $400 and have the bankroll required.

Or, you can play online in a game with lower minimum wagers where your $500
bankroll will be adequate. You can literally “build” the bankroll needed for the Las
Vegas trip from your winnings playing online.
You see that you have enough of a bankroll to play online making $5 Base Bets since
$500 is more than adequate to play at this level.

Next you check with the table presented in a previous chapter (which is repeated below
for your reference) to see what kind of hourly win rates you can expect playing online
making $5 Base Bets.

The table above shows average hourly winnings of $372 an hour for a $5 Base Bettor
playing at a rate of 300 rounds per hour. This rate of play can easily be achieved playing
online.

Let’s assume that you will average about $372 an hour making $5 bets. Now the
calculations are pretty simple. You need to win $400 to build your bankroll from $500 to
$900. This may be summarized as:

Bankroll Needed to Make $10 Base Bets $900

(Las Vegas minimum)
Current Bankroll 500
Bankroll Shortage $400

Now, compute how long it will take you to win the $400 needed to bring your
bankroll up to $900. Assuming you win an average of $372 an hour, we have: $400 /
$372 an hour = 1.08 hours.

Lets say you have a week before you leave for Vegas. You have plenty of time to play a
little over an hour online, pull in $400 and head to Las Vegas.

When you arrive at your choice of gambling locale, it is important that you arrive
prepared, confident that you have mastered the Five-Count Baccarat System, determined
a plan of action, brought your needed materials with you, planned the correct bankroll
and developed a playing schedule for your trip.
Come to the baccarat table confident about yourself and your game plan. Although
you will undoubtedly enjoy the edge you have over other players, make sure that
your enjoyment never interferes with your plan to beat the dealer.

Good luck in all of your play!!!

Summary of the Five-Count Baccarat System

Using this strategy successfully consists of learning two parts of the strategy.
1. Bet Placement is determined by the Baccarat Rhythm Betting Method.
2. Bet Sizing is determined by the Five-Bet Betting Formula.
Baccarat Rhythm Betting
Here are the rules for using the BRB Method:
1. Start a game by observing the two previous decisions. You will need to know what
the two previous decisions were because you will always base your bet on the outcome
of the second preceding decision.

2. With BRB betting you will always bet that the second preceding decision will Repeat
or that it will Chop. We use R and C to stand for these patterns of betting.

3. Always begin a game using the R pattern. Continue using the R pattern until losing
two bets in a row.

4. After losing two bets in a row betting the R pattern, chance to the C pattern on the
next round of play.

5. Bets will change from using the R pattern, which is limited to two consecutive losses,
to the C pattern which is limited to one loss.

The BRB Method is weighted more toward repeating patterns than chopping ones. This
was done after testing many different betting systems. This one works the best with the
Betting Formula used by Five-Count Baccarat players. You should note that this pattern
is optimized specifically for baccarat and is not optimized for use in other casino games
such as roulette, craps or sic bo.
The table below illustrates several wagers made using the BRB Betting Method.

Five-Bet Betting Formula

Rules for the Five-Count Betting Formula
The Five-Count Formula groups bets into three types of bets – Attack Bets, Recovery
Bets and Profit Betting.

The Attack Group consists of three bets. For $5 base betting these bets are: 5 10 15.
Attack Bets
The rules for making bets in the Attack Group are as follows:
1. Start with the lowest bet in the group, in this case a $5 bet.
2. If the bet loses, raise the next bet one level. If the bet wins, continue to make the
same bet. If there have been two wins in a row and the next bet is $5, use the rules for
Profit Betting.

3. If a bet wins, drop the bet one level. If you win two bets in a row or two out of three
bets, drop the next bet two levels. Example: Win a bet on $15. Lose a bet on $10. Win a
bet on $15. The next bet will be on $5, since we won two out of three bets.

4. If the largest bet in the Attack Group is lost move into Recovery Betting.
Recovery Bets
The second group of bets used with the Five-Count Formula are the Recovery Bets.
The Recovery Bets used with $5 Base Bets consists of: 20 40.

Here are the five bets used for $5 Base Betting:

Five-Count Formula for $5 Base Bets

Bet Type Attack Bets Recovery Bets Total Bets

Bet Level 1 2 3 4 5
Bets 5 10 15 20 40 $90

Here are the rules used for the Recovery Bets

1. Begin making Recovery Bets upon the loss of the highest Attack Bet (a Level 3 Bet).
2. With Recovery Betting your goal is to win one Recovery Bet. Upon the win of either
Recovery Bet, you will drop to making a Level 2 Attack Bet in the next round. Example:

Bet $20 and lose. Bet $40 and win. Drop to a $10 Attack Bet. If this bet wins drop to
a Level 1 $5 bet. If the bet loses, increase the next bet to a Level 3 bet.

Profit Betting
After winning two consecutive bets, you will go into Profit Betting Mode. Profit Betting
is always based on making a Level 1 bet. Here are some examples of wins leading up to
starting Profit Betting.

A. Win a Level 5 bet of $40 and then win a Level 2 bet of $10. The next bet will be a
Level 1 bet of $5 which can be turned into a Profit Bet.

B. Win a Level 3 bet of $15, followed by a Level 2 bet of $10. The next bet will be a
Level 1 bet of $5 which can be turned into a Profit Bet.

Here are the rules for Profit Betting:

1. You must have won two wagers in a row and be at a Level 1 bet to start profit betting.
2. In Profit Betting Mode you will make a wager of $7 instead of the normal level 1 bet of
$5. If the bet wins, you will reduce the next bet to $5. If this bet wins, increase the next bet to
$6 and with each additional win increase the next bet by +2. This series can be written as:
7 – 5 – 6 – 8 – 10 and so on.
3. Any loss ends Profit Betting. The loss is counted as the loss of a Level 1 bet so that
the next bet will be a Level 2 bet.

Starter Bets
A starter bet is a neutral bet made only to start a game. You will need to make this bet
whenever the house requires a wager in order to start a game, and you are the only
player at the table. You will encounter this situation with online baccarat games where
you are playing a computer-controlled game which will only deal a round of play if you
have a bet placed.

A Starter Bet will consist of a bet equal to the minimum wager allowed by the house. If
the minimum bet required is $1, bet $1 to start the game. If the minimum is $5, bet $5 to
get started.

You can wager your first Starter Bet on either Player or Banker to get the game going.

You will need at least two rounds of play in order to have the information needed to set up
Baccarat Rhythm Betting, which is based on the outcome of the second preceding bet.

Once you know the second preceding bet, which is a decision bet, not a Tie, you will start
a game by using the Repeat Pattern and making a wager that the second preceding
decision will repeat. From here on you will follow the betting rules for Baccarat Rhythm
Betting and the Five-Count Betting Formula.

Win Goals and Bankrolls

I have found that the best way to win consistently is to play with a definite Win
Goal in mind.

You can think of a Win Goal as your immediate profit objective in playing baccarat.
Many players like to play for whole shoes or play for preset time periods. These are not
the best ways to win consistently.

Consistent winners will play for predetermined Win or Profit Goals. Each level of play
has a different Win Goal which is dependent on the size of the bankroll used.

In general, the size of the minimum bet to be made determines bets to be used in the
Five-Count Formula.

The size of the Base Bet determines the amount of the buy-in or Game Bankroll needed
to play at that level.

And, the Game Bankroll determines the Win Goal for each level of play.
The following table shows the Base Bets, Attack Bets, Recovery Bets, Win Goals,
Game Bankrolls and Total Bankrolls for play ranging from $1 to $1,000 Base Bets.

Base Bets – are the smallest bets used at each level of play. The Base Bets may be the
same as the minimum bets set by the house or they may be larger than the minimum
wagers allowed. For example, you might want to use the Set Up for $3 Base Bets in a
Game requiring $1 minimum bets. However, you couldn’t make $1 Base Bets in a game
with $3 minimum bets.

Attack Bets – are governed by the same playing rules for any level of play. You will
always start a game making the lowest level Attack Bet. The loss of the highest level
Attack Bet will always trigger a move to Recovery Betting.
Recovery Bets – follow a standard set of rules. These bets are only used after losing
the first three levels of Attack Bets. The win of any Recovery Bet will trigger a move
back to the second highest Attack Bet on the next round of play.

Win Goal – is your objective in playing a game. Once you reach a Win Goal, you can
consider a game won and you can take a break from play. However, you can also follow
our procedures to Reset the system back to a Level 1 Attack Bet and to continue playing.

Game Bankroll – is the amount of cash you will exchange for chips to start a game in a
land-based casino. It also acts as the largest amount you can possibly lose in a game as
you will never increase the size of your Game Bankroll in the middle of a game. I use
the concepts of Game Bankroll and Buy-in interchangeably, where a buy-in is the
amount of cash converted to chips to start a game.

Total Bankroll – is the total amount you need to set aside for using this system. We
recommend that you have an amount five times the size of your Game Bankroll.
