distance of approx 10 kms. from station plot. is at a distance of approx.30 kms from the site.

The encroached area has not been included in the approx. total area mentioned above.

Land and local site features

1. The site is connected by Roads

2. The land parcel has uneven surface, which is covered with heavy shrubs & small trees all throughout the stretch.
3. Water logging and water drainage are the key issue identified on the land parcel. Hence, necessary provisions to
overcome waterlogging, may be considered during the designing of mounting structure.
4. Some temporary encroachments like houses, roads and small farms were found on the land parcel during survey.
However, as per the railway officials it can be removed easily before the work starts.
5. The approx. area without encroachment is 445 acres, which is arrived after removing the encroached area from the total
Railway land.
6. Yes, wildlife activities have been observed on the site.
7. Near by Power plants are the source of pollution, identified in the vicinity.
8. During the survey, it was found that construction of 4 lane highway is going on along the track.
