to run for the NDP in the
provincial elections this
October.
“I strongly believe in

and I think they’ve done a

Town crews prepared
for spring flooding

A s spring nears, Town
crews in Minnedosa
monitor the Little Sas-
katchewan River and pre-
pare to deal with poten-
tial flooding. Throughout
Manitoba, flooding poten-
tial has increased due to
high river flows, very high
soil-moisture conditions
at freeze-up, above nor-
mal snow-water content
in the snowpack, and an
expected cooler and wet-
ter spring.
Taking these factors
into account, on Febru-
ary 24th Manitoba Water
Stewardship released its
latest spring flood outlook
report, stating that even
