Email to parents about disruptive behaviour:

Hi Renay,

Hope you had a great weekend.

I am emailing regarding Jacks behaviour in Health and Physical Education. Jack has been reminded
constantly about his disruptive behaviour in class and unfortunately he is making a negative impact
on his and other students learning. Jack has been put into time out for 5 minutes during PE for him
to reflect about his behaviour, however this has now happened two weeks in a row. Jack was given a
lunch detention on Friday due to this behaviour.

Would there be a chance you could speak to Jack about this and making positive choices in class?

It would be much appreciated.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Missed work:

Hi Debbie,

I am emailing to discuss Daniels Master of Skill assessment. For Master of Skill, Daniel is required to
upload videos every two weeks to show his progression. At the moment, Daniel has missed two
uploads in total now. This means it is going to very difficult to provide Daniel with feedback and a
adequate grade due to his minimal uploads. Is there a possibility for you to help Daniel upload two
videos of himself performing his skill this week?

This would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I'm just touching base once again to update your on what is a BIG week for Year 6's in Health &
Physical Education.

On Monday, student's completed the final filming of their practical assessment, the Master a

Skill task they've been working on throughout the term. It's truly been great to see their skill
progression and confidence grow each week. Student's should have filmed and uploaded footage of
their skill fortnightly, so if you get the chance I'd encourage you to check with your child that
they've upload their final footage under "Week 7 Skill Upload", and if time permits, look at the
footage taken throughout the term to see how much improvement has taken place. The final date
this can be uploaded is tomorrow - Friday.
Tomorrow, student's can utilise class time to finish and upload their health assessment task: Anti-
smoking Campaign. In the interest of students not rushing and trying to complete this last minute
to get out to sport, I'd also encourage you to check in with them to see how this is progressing.
Students have already had 2 lessons allocated to completing this, with tomorrow being the 3rd and
final lesson and due date. Please see the assessment section on Seqta or contact me if you'd like
more information on what needs to be done.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to get in touch.

Many thanks,
Beth Rennes

Parents attention :

Hi Bradley and Melanie ,

In PE this term we are learning Basketball. As a way of getting Nathan involved in the sport during
class, it would be great if you had the opportunity to practise these skills at home. I would love to
see Nathan achieve some success in the class, and by practising these skills at home such as
dribbling, throwing and catching, will allow him opportunity to do so.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.

Hi,

In PE this term we are learning Basketball. Daniel usually participates in PE classes in pervious terms,
however Daniel is reluctant to show any participation this term.

I am concerned about the impact this will have on his skill progression and the grade he will achieve.
I would appreciate if you could please have a conversation with him to discuss why this may be the
case.

I appreciate your support in Daniels learning,

Thanks,

Kaitlin Battel

Parents asking for students to resubmit/ feedback on work:

Hi Lisa,

In order to stay consistent with all Year 9 students regarding resubmission, Karleah will not be able
to resubmit her work. Karleah can use this as a learning experience for future assessments. If you
would like her to have another attempt that is fine, I can provide her feedback, however it will not
affect her grade.
Thanks,

Kaitlin Battel

In Year 9 this term we conducted a whole term assessment on Table Tennis. Each student in their
groups were allocated a specific skill, where they were to create a session plan and demonstrate it to
their group. I understand Karleah was not at school in order to demonstrate her session plan to her
group members which makes it hard for a reflection.

For Criteria D, Karleah did not fill out the Interpersonal Skills reflection which described her
interpersonal skills she had shown through out the term. Karleah could have completed the
reflection by describing ways she demonstrated interpersonal skills when working with her group
during class time and other areas of improvement.

Unfortunately I do not have time today for a call,

If you have any other questions, please email me.

Thanks for your support,

Kaitlin Battel

SEQTA bulk emails of missed work:

Hi {contact_title} {contact_surname},

I am emailing to let you know that {prefname} has not uploaded {him} video

submission for Master a Skill Assessment. This submission was due last
week, failure to upload will put {prefname} at risk of falling behind in the
assessment task. Can you please encourage {prefname} to upload their
submission as soon as possible.

Thanks for your support,

Kaitlin Battel
Hi Letitia,

My name is Kaitlin Battel and I am Logans I&S teacher this year. This term I am having great
difficulties in keeping Logan engaged in class work. For the last week and a half the class has been
working on their assignment. I have gone though this assignment with Logan and explained what he
needs to do. However, when asked for a draft, Logan has not completed any of the work.

I am asking if you will be able to support me in encouraging Logan to take responsibility for this work
effort in class as this task is due this Thursday.

If you have any questions please feel free to email.

Thank you,

Kaitlin Battel

Student has not submitted a completed draft for I&S. A week has been given in class. The due date is
final being the 8th of June. If student requires assistance, in class support will be given.

It is essential that all due dates are followed.
