Vesteria

Pen & Paper


Classes
A player starts with the class Adventurer and can choose a new class once they achieve level 5
with their character.
Adventurer
The starter class.

Warrior
Specializes in strength and vitality (preferably). Attacks and tanks all the damage for the group.

Wizard
Specializes in intelligence and dexterity (preferably). Uses magic powers to damage from far away
without getting damaged.

Hunter
Specializes in strength and dexterity (preferably). Uses quick attacks to damage enemies.

Stats
A player gets 3 stat points every level they achieve and can spend them on any stat they want,
making any kind of specialization for their character.
Strength:
How strong is your character? A high number here shows how hard the character can hit. Preferably, as
a player you would want a character that is a Warrior or Hunter to have a high number here.
(Gain +.333 Attack for every Strength Stat)

Vitality:
How tough is your character? A high number here shows that you can withstand a lot of attacks and hits.
This stat should be used for most characters.
(Gain 1 HP for every Vitality Stat)

Intelligence:
How wise is your character? A high number here shows how well the character can use magic and
perceive situations. Preferably, as a player you would want a character that is a Wizard to have a high
number here.
(Gain 3 MP and +0.5 Magic Attack for every Intelligence Stat)

Dexterity:
How fast or skillful is your character? A high number here shows how fast a character can run or dish out
attacks. Preferably, as a player you would want a character that is a Wizard or a Hunter to have a high
number here.
(Gain +1 Speed for every Dexterity Stat)

Levels
Every level you get 3 stat points to spend (see Stats section) and to level up you need a certain
amount of exp which you get from quests, killing monsters, etc. and as you go higher and
higher in number of levels it gets harder to level up.
Level 0 – 0 Exp
(Start as a level 0 and with 3 stat points to spend)

Level 1 – 5 Exp | Level 2 – 10 Exp

Level 3 – 30 Exp | Level 4 – 50 Exp

Level 5 – 80 Exp | Level 6 – 110 Exp

Level 7 – 160 Exp | Level 8 – 200 Exp

Level 9 – 260 Exp | Level 10 –320 Exp

Armor & Hats


You can buy armor and hats at shops or craft it with materials that monsters drop. Armor and
hats increase your defense value so that it will be harder for monsters to hit you.

(FREE) Old Shirt – 2 DV, Level 0, Any Class

(5 Gold) Wooden Chestplate – 5 DV, Level 3, Any Class

(4 Gold) Old Robes – 3 DV, Level 3, Any Class, +1 Magic Attack

(4 Gold) Leather Straps – 4 DV, Level 3, Any Class, +1 Speed

(11 Gold) Rusty Armor – 7 DV, Level 5, Warrior

(9 Gold) Apprentice’s Robes – 4 DV, Level 5, Wizard, +1.5 Magic Attack

(9 Gold) Moon Cloak – 6 DV, Level 5, Hunter, +2 Speed

(20 Gold) Bronze Armor – 9 DV, Level 8, Warrior

(16 Gold) Magus Robes – 7 DV, Level 8, +2 Magic Attack

(17 Gold) Bandit’s Vest – 8 DV, Level 8, +3 Speed

Hats

(1 Gold) Old Beanie – 2 DV, Level 1, Any Class

(DROP) Mushroom Cap – 3 DV, Level 4, Any Class, +1 Speed


(Drop on 10+ for Mushroom Kid, Drop on 8+ for Big Shroom)

Gold Drops
Level 0-3 = 5+ on 1D6

Level 4-6 = 10+ on 2D6

Level 7-8 = 6+ on 2D6

Level 9-10 = 8+ on 3D6

(Players get 1 gold for each enemy they fought if they rolled high enough.)
