The Atlanta Braves is a home town Baseball team as most people in

this area know. They were always not in Atlanta they actually first
origanated in Boston. They actually spent the most time as a franchise
their. There name came up to be there was the Boston red stockings
in there first 4 seasons. They have Played in 8 stadium the most
notable are Suntrust Park, Turner Field, and Fenway Park. There
most memerbale season was 1914 when they started the season 26-
40 After that they went on a hot streak and went 41-12 to end the
season they actually won the NL Pennant. When they went to the
world series they were huge underdogs but with that team they swept
the world series and became the first team to ever sweep a team in
modern world series history.
In this artcle we will be talking about comparsions bettween Michael Jordan
and LeBron James In the finals Jordan has the slight Victory br going
undefeated in the finals at 6-0 while LeBron has a losing record at 3-5.
They both have won at least 2 all star MVP and 2 regular ones. LeBron
has the edge with 2 golds and one bronze medals in the olympics while
Jordan has 2 golds. In the advanced metrics Jordan has the edge by being
the all time leader in PER ( Player Efficency Rating). They have each
played in the same amount of games. Jordan has more MVP’s finals
MVP’s All deffense selections and definsive player of the year James has
the edge in all nba selections. In many catgories you can see that Michael
Jordan has an edge. If you look at the numbers we can see that MJ is
clearly better but. He better watch out for LeBron who is still an active
player and can be first in this argument at any second.

The Golden State Warriors have been an NBA superteam but, It has not
always been like that. The warriors franchise as a Whole has been a joke
of the league until recently. The worst season they have ever had is in
2000-2001 when they had a mere 17 wins to 65 losses. This is very
suprising because there best player (Antwan Jamison) averaged 25 points
and 9 rebounds In this horrible season. In 2015 everything changed they
one there first NBA chapionship since 1975. In 2016 they were upset in the
finals after blowing a 3-1 lead. In the last 2 years they won the finals. All
these matchups have came aganist LeBron’s team the Cavs (See last
Page). This season they have 5 all stars from last season so we could see
another finals win.
In game 5 of the Western Conference finals late in the game where it was
already won the rockets put out Chris Paul out on the court. In those
moments at the end of a game he suffered a hamstring strain. This was an
horrible injury for the rockets. He was their second best player he could he
end up messing up there chances of wining the western conference or
even the NBA finals. In the last 2 games of the series the rockets had a
double digit leads at halftime. The warriors (see last) just had great thrid
quarters that the rockets defense could not stop (chris Paul was a good
defender). In game 6 and 7 the warriors had a 30 point scorer. Chris Paul
was a key piece to their season where they were the best team in the NBA.
He could have deffintley helped the rockets win one of those games

In the NFL there is an epidemic going on it is torn ACL’s. It is a very

grusome injury that tears the ligament in your knee. In the 2017 regular
season 51 players tore that ligament in 17 weeks. That is three tears every
week! A notable name already this season is Jimmy Garoppolo. We know
this injury is very hard to deal with and is known to end carrers. John Ross,
Carson Palmer, and Jermey Maclin all hadm carrer seasons after the
injury. The NFL and the NCAA have made rules that you can’t hit below the
knees. This could really help people from getting injured. All we can do is
wait on this season to see what this rule does.
