ACTION PLAN

(ON GENDER and DEVELOPMENT)

I. GOAL:

Violence is defined as “the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or commun
either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation”. Interventions like seminar and
symposiums would likely help in preventing violence before it starts as well as preventing recurrence, preventing adverse effects (such as trauma or the
consequences of trauma), and preventing the spread of violence to the next generation.

This action plan aims to educate women in some forms of violence and equip them with knowledge on how to avoid it.
