Life and Journey
• A Spanish architect and is best known for his organic and free-flowing
architecture.
• Born in to a poor family in Catalonia and he quickly showed a great
interest in architecture.
• He was also a part of the Catalan Modernista movement that eventually
morphed his nature-inspired style.
• His works were primarily influenced by his passion in life. These included
architecture, nature and religion.
• He did his schooling in Barcelona, which is a city that houses most of his
great works.

• Antoni Gaudi's style was initially heavily inspired by his


Victorian predecessors.

• He soon developed his style that composed of mixing


geometry with animated surfaces of brick or stone, ceramic
tiles as well as floral or reptilian like metalwork.
