5.a. What are the parameter sets commonly used in electronics for characterizing
the two-port linear system? 2
b.Why Hybrid Paraneters are needed for analysing two-ports network system? 3
c. How we represent the ‘h’ parameters for transistor operationin a two-port
network system? 5

6.a. Depending on the bias conditions, mention the different modes of operation of
BJT. 3
b. Explain with proper diagram the ‘flow of current’ through a n-p-n transistor
in its ‘active mode’. 7
