1 Purpose

The purpose of this document is to describe the Radio Communications facilitates


installed at both YPF and YPN, the number of channels with different frequency
used and allocation of channels during normal plant operation and during blackout.

2 Scope

This procedure is applicable to all site Radio Communication systems for both YPF
and YPN plants.

5 Procedure

5.1 Equipment Installed

5.1.1 Yara Pilbara Fertilisers (YPF)

Equipment Description / Location

Four (4) installed in EI workshop and allocated to


Radio channel 1 to Channel 6. These channels are

digital channels and have the facility for Recording
,GPS and Man down programming.

One (1) installed in EI workshop and allocated to


channel 26.
Repeater Motorola SLR 5500
One (1) ) installed in BLB jetty substation and
allocated to channel 26

One (1) installed in control room. Functional to identify


GPS monitoring screen the location of the radio(s) on channel 1 - 6 if
programmed for GPS.

15 are not in operation currently.

Shall be used for GPS and Man down programming.

Yara has digital as well as analogue channels.
