Notice
 The day-to-day tasks should be reported weekly to the respective advisers
 At the end of phase 1 (hamele 07), you need to submit your project document up to
literature review
 Group members should not exceed five in a group (At most five)
 Report group and project group should be the same
 The final document of the report and the project should align with the format given
by the university-industry linkage

Week Day Type of activities Descriptions
Monday Corrective maintenance First, we have checked the continuity of fuse, power cable, and switch
of Suction machine by multimeter, so depend on this we have done the following
activities. We repaired the fuse of the suction machine by welding the
single wire on it, and also we plug in the suction machine to 110v of a
step-down transformer from the outlet of 220v.The suction machine
that we have seen uses 110v indicated by its template.

Tuesday Corrective maintenance The heat from surgical light especially halogen or light is a major
of Operating/Surgical problem and they are getting burned. We add a heat protection filter.

Wednesday Corrective maintenance The refrigerator failed to cool because the condenser coil collects dust,
of Lab refrigerator hair preventing the coil from properly dissipating heat.
Using a condenser coil brush to ensure the optimum refrigerant
operation.
Thursday Corrective maintenance We have cleared the board of infusion pump by alcohol and welded by
of Infusion,ECG, lead, and also changed the keyboard of infusion machine. After these
Electrosurgical unit(ESU) activities we have seen the repaired infusion machine with
and ventilator machines doctors/technicians and checkup it by intra-veins fluid (drug) that
means we have seen the errors, immediately we corrected the errors,
and we also cleared the board of ECG by alcohol. Now it is functional.
We did check the power distribution of ESU by checking continuities
of power cable by multimeter and repaired the power cable of
ESU.The display board of the ventilator can’t display. We have solved
this problem by replacing the display board.

Friday Corrective maintenance We saw that the inlet valve did not suck any mineral free (distilled)
of laboratory autoclave water automatically due to this it stopped normal function at all and we
also saw “no water” error message was displayed on the screen. Then
we added some water manually in order to start normal function of
sterilization, but until then the inlet valve did not suck any water by
itself after that, we saw that there was another error message which, is
“water filling” displayed on the screen. We had checked two fuses,
filters, short circuit test; open circuit test for different wires and all of
them were functional. Finally we expect the error would be on valves
and pipes. We had set time on next day to finish our activity.

and also we have changed the power cable of the motor of the suction
 machine. We also had gottena problem witha power cable of the blend
of ESU, after that, we corrected proper wiring.
