ANALYSIS ON THE CONCEPTS OF ACCESSIBILITY IN

ARCHITECTURE
summary
This research is based on the different aspects of accessibility in
architecture for public building considering every category of
individuals . Creating a space that’s accessible in all aspects is the most
important thing for safe and sustainable living .A variety of factors
need to be discussed while designing a detailed an accessible design
.arrangement of rooms ,allocation of space and selections of colours
are some examples .Entry and Exit are not just some words defining
path . we need to consider so many factors to define that term in order
to attain the space meaningful . Also it should meet the requirements
of every individual, it could be old and young or abled or disabled , so
that everyone can roam around freely and perform basic tasks without
any assistance . Many rules and regulations are there which makes the
accessibility sensible for all category of people . But still there are
certain designs which does not meet the requirements of individuals .
This study is intended to review the analysis of universal design
standards and concepts of architectural design in terms of accessibility
which happens specifically with the public buildings .
