Executive Summary Technology
Based on nationalgeographic, the topic of trash increasingly
discussed by many people and related institutions. Every year, 1,29
million metric ton of plastic trash in Indonesia is ended at ocean. This
problem makes Indonesia the second place in the world as a country
contributing plastic trash to the ocean, especially in using disposable
plastic product. For example, Indonesia has serious problems with the
existence of plastic straw, around 93 millions pcs are used in a day. It
makes bad effect to the environment, especially in oceans. Every year,
around a third of marine biota, coral reefs, and seabirds die because of
plastic trash, include the plastic straw.
Ironically, the latest technology could haven’t yet decrease
the using of plastic straw. Ministry of Environment also inform that
around 70 percent of plastic trash in Indonesia can be reduced, but
not with plastic straw. So, considering these problems, here come
El Nino Corp with new innovation called STRAWFISH and B-
STRAW. Both innovation are helped by an application called
STRAWFind.
STRAWFISH is a fish robot to suck up plastic straw in
water, B-STRAW is alternative substitute of plastic straw from
bananas skin with plain taste which can be consumed, and
STRAWFind have function to make STRAWFISH approached the
position where someone is around plastic straw in water.
Product and Design Description
STRAWFISH comes with a shape like fish with weight of
2 kg and diameter 30 cm. The front side of STRAWFISH is made
by acrylic glass which shatterproof, therefore it can’t damage the
technology inside. Below acrylic, there is slot that can be opened
and closed for suck up the plastic straw. On both sides, there is slot
that have function to remove water which get in. On the top, there
is slot which equipped by a lid that have function to bring out the
trash when the capacity of STRAWFISH has full. Also, on behind
side there is a fan so the STRAWFISH can go forward, and it has
the tail for determined the direction.
STRAWFind comes with features such as home (profile,
total point, call us, share, email us), set location, report, gallery,
and about us with contains company address & instagram.
B-STRAW looks like usual straw with material banana
skin and carboxymethyll cellulose which can be eaten and can be
compost.
STRAWFISH use the AI detector technology from
Google ro detect the plastic straw in the beach and river. Its also
use the camera from the DJI to see the real-time situation in the
ocean that connected to the main server. STRAWFISH is equipped
by the installed app in the smartphone called STRAWFind. If the
users find the rubbish in the side of ocean and take the picture of
it, the STRAWFind account will automatically lock the data and
the location. After that, it will be send to the inactive
STRAWFISH. That product will go to the locked data and
location, and then detect the rubbish using the AI detector. After
that, the STRAWFISH will vacuum the plastic straw with a similar
system like vacuum cleaner. So then, it will store in the storage up
to 1 kg. And the product will come back to the store and give the
rubbish to the machine that will transform the plastic to the oil.
Therefore, STRAWFISH will automatically recharge with wireless
charging system.
Every each STRAWFISH operation from account of
STRAWFind, the users will receive the point that can be collected
and trade with the B-STRAW in the nearest B-STRAW store.
Operations
STRAWFISH will be developed in Bali because Bali is
the most famous city among the tourists than the other beaches in
Indonesia. Ironically, Kuta Beach is one of the dirtiest beach in the
world . Unfortunately Kuta beach is one of the favourite tourist
destination for holiday. That's the reason why we build the first
STRAWFISH manufacture here, try to reduce the garbage in Bali.
In the other hand, B-STRAW will be produced in
Banyuwangi, East Java. The reason why we choose Banyuwangi is
because of the city is the biggest producers bananas in Indonesia.
The people there will make a product from bananas, and made a
side product from it. The side product, which form the banana's
skin, that we will produce and turn into B-STRAW.
The application we develope will be handle by IT and
design expertises. Beside that, the technicians we hire will control
the condition, the security, and the maintenance of the servers. Our
technology can be developed and will make profit for a long time.
Target Market
STRAWFISH product will be target to the government,
the corporation that concern about the nature. The final result from
the product is oil that can be distribute to Pertamina or the others
oil company. And the company can proceed the oil for further
product. The B-STRAW will be distributed to the citizen. The
society from any class can use our product and contribute to the
government this movement about plastic. The application we
develop will be easily and free to access from Google Play and
Appstore.
Promotion and Marketing Strategies
Our products will be promoted through Youtube by the
influencer there. Also, through media social like Instagram,
Twitter, Facebook, and many more, with the influencers too.
The distribution of our product, STRAWFISH, will reach
all around beach in Indonesia. For B-STRAW, it will be
distributed to all people in Indonesia, the restaurant and cafe. Our
product can be found in the market and also can be exported to the
country which has the biggest uses of plastic straw, such as
Tiongkok. The banner for promote our service will be placed in
public area especially the beach and the river.
Competitive Advantage
STRAWFISH and STRAWFind are be expected can
reduce the plastic straw in Indonesian ocean. Also engage the
people to contribute in prevention of plastic straw addition's. Our
product are guarantee stand out than the others. The B-STRAW
can compete with plastic straw because the price not much
different with plastic straw, and B-STRAW not make bad effect to
the environment.
Financial Plan
The company sources of finance will come from owners
equity, investors, venture capital fund, and profit from service &
application. In the first year, the company would have loss of $
8,794.00. In the next year, the company will get a profit of $
195,775.00. The third year, the company will successfully get a
profit of $ 188,959.00. The return of investment to the owner and
investor will be done in the fifth year after the company
establishment. The third year profit is bigger than the second year
because the company will expand the office and workers, upgrade
of machine, and increase the material for production. The
STRAWFISH price is about $ 285 and increase 10 % for the next
year; The STRAWFIND apps is free; and each of The B-STRAW
price is about 17 sen/packs and for the next year the price will 8,5
sen/packs.

STRAWFISH, STRAWFIND, and B-STRAW is a great
idea for change environment and decreasing the plastic rubbish,
especially plastic straw. Moreover, this products can educate
human awareness of environment with utilize industry 4.0.
