Tournament Format:

• Overs- 20
• Ball: White leather ball tournament. (SF County Crown or True TEST)
• Total 10 Teams.
• 2 Groups; 4 League matches.
• Grouping based on Lot system.
• Top 2 Teams from each group qualify for Knockouts.

Ground Location: Athena Sports, Varthur.

Pitch: Astro Turf.

General Information & Rules:

1. Tournament Commencement: starts from Augusts 15th and held during weekends and National
holidays.

2. Rules: Standard ICC T20 rules will be applicable.

3. Prohibited: Due to the current pandemic situation, using of saliva to shine the ball is prohibited until
further notice.
4. Payment: At the time of registration, 5000/- (Non Refundable). Remaining before Team’s 1st Game.

5. Scoring: CricHeroes. All scores, points table and charts will be as per the APP.

6. Timings: Start Time of the match (3 matches in a day): 7:15 am, 10:30 am and 1:45 pm. Reporting
time for toss is 15mins before start timing. 85mins will be given to both teams (5mins grace time) to
complete 20 overs. For every mins delay after 85mins, overs will be reduced for first bowling team (1
over cut for every 4 mins). During second batting team, the innings will be stopped at 85mins & for the
remaining overs, the penalty runs will be given to batting team for delayed overs (Penalty Runs=NRR of
the batting team till the 85mins *1.5 times).

7. Tie Scenario: In case of a tie match, equal points will be awarded in the group stage, and super over
during the knockouts to decide the winners.

8. Weather Conditions: In case it rains: a. Minimum 6 overs should be played in second innings to decide
the winner otherwise match will be called-off and rescheduled on the reserved days. B. Revision of D/L
target is based on CricHeroes App. c. Incase of wash-out, rematch will be scheduled.

9. Toss: 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the match.

10. Delay: If the team’s arrival(minimum 9 members) is delayed from the scheduled time of
commencement of match, every 4 minutes 1 over will be deducted from the total quota of 20 overs,
more than 45 minutes, opponent will be given walk-over.

11. Match Schedule: Weekly schedule will be prepared for the tournament. Team’s availability will be
checked with the captains, and every Monday schedule will be rolled out. No change in schedule after
Monday evening once schedule is published. Last minute pull-outs will not be entertained, and
necessary actions will be taken in such scenarios. (If any team needs a pre-fixed schedule, captain can
reach out to organizers and it will be worked upon)

12. Player Rules: A player: a. can only represent one team in a tournament, if found guilty, match will be
awarded to opponents. b. who has played at least one league match will be allowed to play in the
knockouts. If found guilty, team will be disqualified, and opponents will be adjudged winners. .

13. Team/Squad: Total of 22 players should be provided at the registration with name & number. a.
Minimum 12 players name should be provided prior to the match in whatsapp group for Knockouts.

14. Drinks break: Drinks break will be given after 10 overs. No drinks in-between without the consent of
umpires.

15. Any un-toward incident/sporting injury: Organizers have taken precautions to ensure that all games
are completed without any accident/incidents. In case of sporting injury to spectators/players during the
game, management will not be responsible for the same.
16. Umpires decision: Umpires decision will be final. Indulging in any physical or verbal abuse will not be
entertained. Outsiders and spectators will not be allowed into the field during the game under any
circumstances.

Team Protocol:

1. Captain is responsible to ensure all players of his team play the sport with dignity and in the right
spirit of the game.

2. Captain will be the sole person to talk to umpires/organizers incase of anything to be communicated.

3. Abusive/offensive language against player/umpire on/off the field will not be allowed. Organizers will
take strict action against such players.

4. Dress-code will be strictly observed. Players without proper cricketing gears will not be allowed to
take part in the game.

5. Player walking-out to provide drinks to team-mates should be in whites.

6. Teams should take care of their own belongings; organizers are not responsible in case of any
loss/theft.

7. Smoking can be done in designated area. Kindly refrain from smoking in the dug-out as non-smokers
will be disturbed.

8. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the ground premises.

9. Organizers have the right to amend the rules at any time if it is in the best interest of the tournament.
