Abstraction
Lifestyle change is the best way of preventing illness and early death. The way you live your life in an everyday basis is your
lifetsyle. These are the patterns of your behavior on how you typically live. It includes eating habits, physical activity participation.
BMI Classification 18.5 to above - Underweight 18.5 to 24.9 - Normal 25.0 to 29.9 - Overweight 30 above - Obese
1. Genes - these are inherited traits from your parents.
2. Evironmental factor- aside from the genetic factors, being overweight or obese is also caused by some environmental factors.
These include behavior and lifestyle choices.
Weight Gain - more calories consumed / less calories expended
Weight Loss - more calories consumed/ less calories expended
Weight Management - calories consumed = calories expended
Application
Give the classification number of : 1.underweight 2.normal 3.overweight 4.obese Identification: 5-6. more calories consumed/
less calories expended 7-8.more calories consumed / less calories expended 9-10. calories consumed = calories expended
