Background:

The relevant question to ask is: What’s

the rationality in a Name?

There are many cultures that place huge

importance in names and naming of
their child; in these cultures a name is
more than a nice-sounding label, a
name can tell a story and pave way for a
destiny.

The “Step Up Foundation” is a brand

wishing to impact and change peoples’
lives towards sustainable self-reliancy.
Influencing people not to lose hope but
to “STEP UP” and claim their place and space in all spheres of life through information, empowerment, skills
development and providing the necessary resources and mentorship.

Step Up Foundation is a newly established Non Profit Non-Governmental organization (NPC Reg. Nr:
2016/078715/08) based in Springbok, Namaqualand. Our focus is to mobilize communities towards sustainable
and responsible development. At Step Up Foundation we believe in transformation from poverty to hope,
obstables to opportunities, and from oppression to truimph. As Step Up Foundation we celebrate the rich diversity
of our country and praise many individuals and organizations who steadfastly remained committed to the breaking
of the cycle of marginalization and poverty in South Africa.
