The roof at Reynolds Market was damaged Tuesday
night (along with a lot of other damage in this corner
of the state) as gusty winds impacted Northeast
Montana. They were the result of the pressure gradient
(or difference in atmospheric pressure) between low
pressure over Southeast Montana and high pressure
over Alberta. Pictured above is Reynolds manager
Josh Reynolds shortly after 7:00 this morning after
some of the tin and other debris had already been
cleaned up. Thanks to Roger Moran for giving us the
tip shortly before 7:00 as he was out-n-about taking
a look at the damages. He had a couple of trees that

really took a hit last night. He had his windows open
to enjoy the cooler air, and, “My bedroom was full of
leaves!” As for Reynolds Market, it’s still business as
usual as it was just the tin taking the hit.
Also, there was a fire at Winter Harbor near Fort Peck
but we haven’t heard the extent of the damage as of
press time.
In other local weather news, Glasgow’s high of 103 on
Monday, August 16 was the 15th day of a high of 100
or greater for 2021. It is the second most 100+ highs in
a year. 1936 holds the record with 22 days with highs
of 100+. Hopefully those 100 degree days are over.
Regular season winding down

The 2021 Northern Rodeo association season is
winding done as there are only four redoes left before
the Finals on Oct. 28-30 in Kalispell.
The Billingsley family has been staying busy this
summer. Along with ranching they have been on the
rodeo circuit traveling around Montana.
J Billingsley, who is currently ranked third in calf
roping, was second at the Townsend rodeo that was held
August 6-7. He tied his calf down in 10.5 seconds to
earn $639.11. The following week, Aug. 13-14 in Darby,
he tied with Manhattan’s James Ramorez for first. Both
cowboys roped and tied their calf in 9.8 seconds to
pocket 831.90 each.
Brooke Billingsley won the junior barrel racing at
Darby with a time of 16.07 seconds, earning $240. She
was second in junior breakaway roping with a time of
4.1 seconds and collected $187.20. She was second at
Superior with a time of 16.18 seconds, taking home
$79.20.
Bailey Billingsley won the breakaway roping with a
time of 3.1 seconds for $144. She was sixth in Townsend
with a time of 5.0 seconds for $45.60.

Standing up for the U.S.

LeRoy and I listened to the Mike Lindell Cyber
Symposium all three days. What an eye-opener!
Regardless of your political affiliation, it is very
informative and interesting. If only a small percentage of the
statistics presented are true, we are in for a rough ride with
China as the chauffeur.
Throughout the symposium, people were urged to
call their State Senators and Representatives to demand a
“forensic” audit of the voting machines in their state. Among
the Montana delegation to this meeting were Paul Fielder and
Steven Galloway. There were more, but these were speakers
who are putting together an election integrity caucus.
I will be sending letters to our elected officials to urge
them to contact these people and participate in the caucus. If
our state has no election fraud issues, yay, but if there was an
issue in Montana, let’s get it fixed.
The Cyber Symposium will be on “frankspeech.com”
for several days. I hope that many of you will check it out.
It is an easy listen. You do not have to sit in front of your
computer and watch (although some of the charts made the
statistics more understandable).
This symposium was not about Mike Lindell selling
pillows! It was Mike Lindell standing up for our United States
of America!
