Company Profile

The company was founded in the year 2000 as a joint venture between Lufthansa

Technik AG who owns 51% of the company and MacroAsia who owns the remaining 49%.

Lufthansa Technik Philippines offers a wide array or variety of aircraft maintenance, repair,

and overhaul services to customers worldwide.

Their specialties are, line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Engine Services, Component

Services, Landing Gear Services, VIP & Executive Jet Solutions, Total support services,

Engineering services, Cockpit & cabin products, Supplementary services (e.g. logistics, technical

training)

Lufthansa Technik Philippines makes it its mission to ensure that all aircraft leaving its

hangars reflect the world-renowned Lufthansa Technik standards of quality, safety, and

reliability. A key pillar for operational success is our passion and ongoing drive to achieve and

meet high international standards in terms of quality, health and safety, and environment.  

Our Aircraft Engineering Services offer customized solutions to technically complex

airworthiness management tasks which can be subcontracted according to EASA Part-M

(SCAMT). After all: your individual situation is not considered in the manufacturer's

maintenance planning document (MPD) – so any operator's maintenance program needs to be

customized. Why not have the best possible version that meets all your specific requirements?
Some of the services they offer are:

Base Maintenance (Light to Heavy Checks)

Lufthansa Technik Philippines' strong focus is on the base maintenance of Airbus

A320, A330, A340, A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Their base maintenance service portfolio has

cabin reconfiguration or retrofit programs and lease return checks, which may be availed of as a

stand-alone product or as part of a long-term campaign. With them having completed more than

600 base maintenance checks, they have already gained diverse experience with all major SB or

AD complex structural repairs and modification campaigns.

Line Maintenance (Up to A-Checks)

Lufthansa Technik Philippines provides technical support and release to service to

domestic and international operators at Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao airports.

Line maintenance includes all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the line like

between flights or night stops. Normally line maintenance includes transit checks up to A-

checks, but it is still dependent on the maintenance program of the airline. The Lufthansa

Technik however, offer transit-checks with any kind of line maintenance support fit for your

requirements at all our stations worldwide. These include assistance for transits, layovers, and

night-stops.

Corporate Purchasing

Basically, the goal of Corporate Purchasing is to guarantee the procurement of the right/adequate

equipment, material and services according to our guidelines concerning place, time, quality and

quantity on best economic conditions including the optimization of all related processes,

logistics, capital investment and utilization of material.
