PUBLIC NOTICE
30 July 2021

Subject : Urgent Attention of the Candidates of NEET (UG)-2021

It has been decided by the Government of India to implement 27% OBC reservation
(Non-Creamy Layer) and 10% EWS reservation in 15% Under Graduate (UG) All India
Quota seats (MBBS/BDS) (contributed by the State/UTs to the Central Pool). This
reservation will take effect from the current Academic session 2021-22.
Consequently, the overall reservation for admission to Under Graduate (UG) Medical
Courses (MBBS/ BDS) under 15% All India Quota seats, would be as follows:
 S.C.- 15%
 S.T.- 7.5%
 O.B.C.- (Non-Creamy Layer) as per the Central OBC List- 27%
 EWS- As per Central Government norms- 10%
 PwD- 5% Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has already issued a Notice (vide No. U-
12021/06/2021-MEC dated 29.07.2021) through its website:
https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/
Accordingly, the Information Bulletin for NEET (UG)-2021 stands modified mutatis
mutandis.
The eligible Candidates of NEET (UG)-2021 are advised to take note of the above.
