Creative Nonfiction as Genre

Creative nonfiction is the story that involves real people, and is based on facts. It has a narrative plot with an
inciting moment, rising action, climax and denouement, just like fiction. Unlike fiction stories that are made of
imaginary events and characters, creative nonfiction narrates stories based on the real events that took place.
Its contents are about true experiences of the writers themselves.
It is a genre of writing that employs and utilizes literary styles and techniques of writing fiction to make the
real-life stories more entertaining to read.
