    Dear Mr. Manager,

    Thank you for the opportunity to serve the residents of the City of Miami. I have decided it is
    time to leave my role as Chief Resilience Officer for the City. My last day with the city will be September
    9, 2021, however I intend to use accrued vacation time from August 26, 2021 until September 9th,
    providing 3 weeks for transition of my responsibilities.

    It has been an honor working alongside the employees of RPW and the administration as we
    made Miami more resilient to withstand stresses of climate change and other issues. I wish you the best
    as Miami continues to lead in its efforts.
