STUDENT ENGAGEMENT PAPER 2
In all areas of a student's life, there are different types of students. Students are known to
be engaged in different ways, and as a result, the model of student engagement changes from
student to student with multiple aspects of life. Students can be involved in different
relationships between adults in their life, other students, and objectives such as curriculum and
instructions at schools. There are three various central engagements in the multidimensional
views. The first view is cognitive engagement which mainly focuses on the student's investment
which focuses on building through external curricular, academic, and social activities. The third
view is emotional engagements which focus on positivity and adverse reactions to classmates,
school, teachers, and academics. If the views are combined, there will be a sense of both group
Different changes are always seen in student engagement, and also how a student engages
matters a lot. Besides, the student can change the duration and intensity mainly in their
engagement; for instance, a student can feel more engaged in one semester than the other
semesters. Also, some students enjoy classes while others get bored. Over the past years, student
engagement has increased mainly due to the relationship built. If a student becomes more
engaged in school, the student will excel in life, grades, and tests. However, if the student
becomes ungagged, one will not accomplish their goals (Schuh, Jones, & Torres, 2017).
;positive thinking, feeling safe, being creative, and allowing them to be themselves. Furthermore,
through studies, these circumstances can change mainly between middle and elementary school,
Engagement can either be required in life or voluntary. Students can choose to engage
with other students of their choice or engage in class. There are two different engagements which
are seen in various aspects. The first engagement is described as non-organic engagement, which
happens when a student engages with other students ordered by a person (Creso, & Sabzalieva,
2018). For example, in class, when a teacher pairs a student with another student, it is considered
nonorganic. Secondly is organic engagement, where a student is in contact with another student
willing and sharing a conversation. In this engagement, one is not controlled but voluntary. The
Organic engagement, it affects the students by letting them choose who they want to
engage with and allow them to engage in all the ways they want. Also, this engagement allows
the student to learn how to resolve conflict and make friends. On the other side Non-organic
engagement affect the student by instructing them to work with other students even if they don't
want to. If a student is required to work with another student, they need to learn to achieve a
common goal. In this, a student is taught that in life they will work on a different project with
people whom they don't like and those that students want and on end, students need to work
together for success failure to that they might face the consequences (Schuh, Jones, &
Torres,2017). The student critically needs both engagements to help them learn and grow, mainly
in dealing with various situations that they face in their lives. In addition, both types of
engagement are considered to be present in the student's environment as it helps them succeed,
and the two engagements are the same as they have the same effect on the student.
STUDENT ENGAGEMENT PAPER 4
Student engagement and online education are known to be connected, and they are
growing. Since online classes were started, schools have become responsible for developing
engagement between online platforms and students. Online students can be flexible; however,
there has been a misunderstanding that there is no need to interact socially. As a result, most
students have ended up feeling lost, which causes the student to drop out or fail in their classes.
Through this outcome, schools have discovered that even one student needs to be engaged
( Schuh, Jones, & Torres, 2017). There are two main vital areas which most schools are
concentrating on; they include engaging both the professor and student in the class and
developing extra ocular activities which are mainly for online students, for example, online
student organizations. For the online students, the two types of student engagement have been
implemented to assist the students to feel to be part of something more significant than them and
at the same time make them interested in information in classes that they are studying.
The first type of student engagement is the engagement between the professor and their
students. The discussion board is responsible for creating an online program in the engagement.
Through the board discussion, students understand information through explanations given on
how they know all the data presented. Students also get feedback from other students to indicate
that they agree or disagree with the discussion or information. Apart from students' feedback, the
professor also gives feedback expressing their feeling (Ackerman & Schibrowsky, 2007). The
feedback given by the professor and other students is essential as they allow a student to have a
better understanding of how the professor and other students feel and understand the submitted
information. Through this engagement, it will enable the student to think that they are connected
with others, and also they will be able to stay interested in all the information they are taught.

The second engagement involves the new incorporation of online organizations and clubs. These
organizations and clubs make students feel that they are being engaged in something more
significant and vital than themselves and will not feel alone. Both the organization and club can
help the student to feel supported and connected mainly to other students. For instance, Park
University has an online club known as an online psychology club to increase the growth of the
online student population. The club has benefitted the student as it has raised awareness of
growing and diverse opportunities, mainly in the field. Moreover, the club has also created a
forum for learning about psychology through experience in the area. It facilitates involvement,
especially in issues concerning psychology like leadership roles In the organization and relevant
Innovative Engagement
engagement needs to change. The forms are implemented in both online students and class
students. Various innovative ways have made the student feel more engaged and expanded their
understanding in all the information given. Schools have been able to find multiple options for
students in both online and class students, and they can be engaged more. In addition, class
students have been given more options to choose from as they have face-to-face engagement
with the professor and other students. One of the most innovative methods used is creating
diverse clubs and groups in schools. The second innovative method is based on online students,
which involves formation of clubs and organizations, but they are done online. Both class and
online clubs are very beneficial to the students; they make them feel more comfortable.

Biblical Worldview
Every day, students engage in different areas of their lives and engage with other
environments and students. The student needs to note that as Christian, one should engage in
various aspects of their lives. We need God to guide the use and show us the right way as we
also make Him our priority and live according to all his commands. I the Bible, Jesus is an
excellent example to use on how he was connecting and engaging with other people, and He
would always give people the good news of God. In the Book of Isaiah 40:30-31, it says, "Even
youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait on the
Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and
not be weary; they shall walk and not faint" in the verse it explains that God needs to be our
everything and through His strength, we will be able to handle everything in our lives. God is
considered the greatest news for both the staff and students and through engaging, good news
