I. Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to:
1.Knowledge
- Recognize the words: cat, dog, bird.
- Use the sentence pattern : I like cats.
2. Skills:
- Listen and say names of some animals using “I like …”
- Develop to communication and cooperation skills through work in group,work in pair
in activities 2,3,4,5 and games.
3.Attitude:
Pupils are able to:
- Be confident and get some motivation in English.
- Be cooperate with teacher and partners.
- Having a good behavior towards animals.
II. Teaching aids:
Teacher’s aids: student’s and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, IWB software, TV.
Students’ aids: books, notebooks.

III. Procedures:
Activity 1: Warm up (5’)
-Goal: To attract Ss attention to the lesson and to introduce the topic of the lesson( animals)
-Content: Sing and dance the “Animals song” to lead in the lesson.
