Baguio or La Trinidad?

What’s the difference?

People says La Trinidad Benguet is part of the Baguio and Baguio is part of the Benguet, some
tourists says also. However, it should be noted that La Trinidad is a separate town from Baguio City or
Baguio City is separate from Benguet.

La Trinidad
- is a 1st class municipality located north of Baguio City. Contrary to the common misconception, it is
actually the capital of Benguet Province. It is also where the famous large strawberry field is located.

Baguio
- is a highly urbanized and chartered city famously known as the “Summer Capital of the Philippines”.
For tourists, it is where the Burnham Park, Mines View Park, and some other tourist destinations are
located. It is geographically located in the province of Benguet.

So La Trinidad and Baguio are different.
