What do the signs mean?
Use a verb phrase from the list
in a + or - imperative.
CONNECTED SPEECH
Connected speech é uma característica da língua inglesa no qual
as palavras são conectadas (ligadas) uma à outra ao serem
pronunciadas em uma sentença.
Na prática isso refere-se às ligações, uniões, conexões que há no
inglês falado para fazer com que a língua flua muito mais
natural e rapidamente.
Por exemplo, se uma palavra termina com uma consonante e a
palavra seguinte começa com uma vogal, haverá a junção
dessas duas palavras.
Ex.:
Turn off the radio.
