Founded in 1951, TBEA Southern Power Transmission and
Distribution Industry Group(hereinafter referred to as “the
Group”) has become an important implementer of China’s
national strategic infant industry of “High-Level Equipment
Manufacturing” and “Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing”,

large capacity transformer in China's power transmission

In Egypt, the Group implemented the Damietta East 66kV In Uganda, the Group has implemented the Project of
GIS Substation Project. The successful construction of this Bridging the Demand Supply Balance Gap through the
project has ensured long-term stable power consumption in Accelerated Rural Electrification Programme. The project
Damietta City and surrounding areas. includes the electrification of rural network covering 51
regions of the country and serving about 170,000 users.
The construction of the project reduces the gap between
insufficient power generation capacity and heavy power
consumption demand.
