 Let us think about this

1. How does Republic Act 1425 become a law?

- Senator Claro M. Recto and Senator Jose P. Laurel were the main
proponents of RA 1425, which became law. They filed it on April 3, 1956,
and the hearing was held on May 12, 1956. President Ramon Magsaysay
signed it on June 12, 1956. Sen Recto and Laurel's goal is to spread
Rizal's ideas and ideals through his novels, Noli Me Tangere and El
Filibusterismo, and it is natural to remind youths about the past because
they are important in nation building.
