CAE Writing Task 1 - Essay

220-260 words

In your class, you have been having a discussion on the advantages of studying abroad and how it can
prepare students for their future lives.

Benefits of studying abroad for a period of time:

• learning to be self-sufficient
• broadening one’s mind
• future work opportunities

Here are some opinions expressed during the discussion:



“You learn to get by with what you have.”
“It’s a wonderful chance to explore the world around you.”
“Living abroad enhances your career prospects in a globalized world.”
