    FINAL ACTIVITY- 1
    (Research activities for International Marketing)

    1. What are the different International Trade Terms or INCOTERMS (International
    Commercial Terms?) Enumerate them all.

    2. How useful or important INCOTERMS are to International traders?

    3. Find websites of Philippine exporters. What are the common INCOTERMS they are
    using? Write the company and their products and list all the INCOTERMS they are
    using.

    4. A ceramic manufacturer promised to deliver 25 crates of vases to a Japanese importer


    under a “CFR or C&F Tokyo” INCOTERM agreement. During transit however, a large
    number of the vases were broken. The buyer wants to pay the manufacturer only the
    ceramic vases which arrived in good condition saying that the manufacturer is
    responsible for the shipment and for paying the freight charges. Is the importer right in
    his/ her claim? Assess the situation and justify your answer.
