1 Test Description and Goal


The purpose of this test case is to test the Information Retrieval Framework (IRF) data collection process.

2 Important Information and Prerequisites


2.1 Test systems

2.2 Further Information and Prerequisites

General prerequisites  Business function CA_DTINF_FW must be activated.
 Call transaction SM30 for table DTINF_PARAM_HOME and ensure that the parameter
SIMULATE_SAPSYSTEM is set to C and the parameter SUPPRESS_TRANSPORTS is set to X.
 BAdI implementation must have reached the Test System.
 IRF model for ILM object MMPUR_OCII must exist.
 Purpose for ILM object MMPUR_OCII must exist.
 A background job for program DTINF_COLLECTION_MONITOR is scheduled to run every 2
minutes (check with transaction SM37). If not, schedule a job for the program.
 Call transaction DTINF_SYSTEM_STATE and ensure that the option “Allow Usage as Remote
System” is selected.

Role to be used S_INF_DPO (or S_INF_COLL) authorization object with Purpose ID(s) must be assigned to the user.

3 Test Execution Steps


Perform all steps given in the table below and check if they match with the expected results given.

3.1 Start Data Collection
